The small groups were boring but we had free time after. At free time and Wednesday nights for youth group, I would get bullied. I didn't even get bullied at school it was, ironically, at church. The kids in my group called me weird, annoying, and much worse. As I grew up, I still didn't have much friends at church but now it's amazing. Blue youth group there has awesome opportunities for young Christians and they're much nicer. They even have a soda fountain! Somewhat pleased with this place :)

Spirit-Led in Name Only - My Personal Experience at Kingdom Life, Frisco, TX…read more I attended Kingdom Life in Frisco for several years while dating and later marrying a long-time member of the church. Our wedding was performed by Larry Burden. As a former USAF Military Training Instructor, the church's teaching about being a "Kingdom man" and spiritually leading a household resonated deeply with me. I tried to apply these principles faithfully, seeking to honor God in every aspect of my life and marriage. During my marriage, which has since ended in divorce, a serious situation arose involving my ex-wife's brother, who became threatening in our home. I intervened to protect the household and sought counsel from church leadership, and again when my ex-wife left and said she intended to divorce me. I needed pastoral guidance, prayerful insight, and practical spiritual support--but instead I was largely dismissed, given scripture references, and subtly blamed for the challenges in my marriage. It appeared that decisions and counsel were heavily influenced by long-standing relationships within the church, including my ex-wife and her family, rather than based on integrity, fairness, or biblical discernment. I was asked not to attend services for a period of time, and friendships I had built over years quickly evaporated. For a church that claims to be prophetic and spirit-led, this was deeply disappointing. My experience left me feeling that loyalty to long-term members carried more weight than actual spiritual care, accountability, or pastoral integrity. While Kingdom Life operates as a 503(c) nonprofit, in practice I observed that financial contributions and personal relationships often seemed to influence leadership decisions more than God-centered guidance. I share this not to discredit every member or leader, but to provide perspective for anyone considering this church. My experience demonstrates that, in my situation, the church's actions did not reflect the spirit-led, prophetic, and Kingdom-driven leadership that it teaches. People should carefully consider how personal relationships, loyalty, and hierarchy might impact pastoral guidance and support.
