The problem arrived when they undersized my air-conditioning system by almost 1 ton, by forgetting to calculate the heat load from the windows on my west wall. Not only was the unit undersized They could also not make it operate correctly as the delta T has never been better than 10°-11. The unit runs nonstop from 10 AM until 12 PM During the summer, Not being able to Keep up causing the temperature in the house to rise slowly throughout the day. I have had two other large reputable air-conditioning companies also look at the system, and they both agree it is undersized. I have gone back-and-forth with this company for months to no avail, They are quick to get you on the hook, then leave you stranded. I would absolutely never ever recommend this company to anybody. Many of you who Will be reading this know who I am, and I urge you to call me so I can give you a more detailed explanation of my experience with this company. I have given them many chances to correct this issue and they refuse. The only resolution they gave me was to buy another unit that is larger and have it installed at my expense but I would have to keep the old unit And lose the money I paid for it. (Basically, I will have bought two air-conditioning units and own both of them, but one will be sitting in my garage useless due to them failing to size the unit correctly) I have worked with several air-conditioning companies in the past that I had great luck with, but tried Walker heating and air as my friend recommended them, but I can confidently say you would be better off using just about anybody else. I will be having the system that is currently Installed removed and sent back to Walker heating and air-conditioning then taking further action.

My sewage line wasn't draining properly so I got bid from them. They used a camera (sophisticated) to explore the sewage line, which was about 60 ft from the fence line/alley. Guy said that it was old clay pipe that needed to be replaced for $7000. And they would have to replace it all the way to the city main, which would make Abilene the only city that allows anyone to work on their city mains. So just to check on what the city had which I figured was upgraded to pvc (it was) I dug down to the sewer line at the edge of the property. So I started digging down to the sewer line a couple of other places just to verify what the plumber claimed. It ended up only being clay about 10 ft on my property from the city's line. So if the guy had been honest and not tried to grossly exaggerated or pad the estimate he would have said replace the 10 feet of clay because he couldn't have missed it with the camera that he ran from the trap next to my house down toward the fence line. This is probably a common way that unscrupulous plumbers line their pockets. It took a day to dig up that 10 ft of clay and replace w pvc. Cost $89 for supplies. What a profit margin. The sad thing or maybe part of the scam was the fish (Christian) symbol on his truck.
