We used pro tech pest control recently for our home and they were so fantastic and very helpful from the office staff through to the technicians. We had a smell in the roof that no one could detect within 15 minutes of the technician being out the smell was found and they also came up with solutions going forward. It is best to avoid this company if you have children! Unfortunately our kids came down with a bout of gastro overnight and I had to cancel the service I booked for this morning. I called and left a message on their answering machine this morning advising of the cancellation and why and then called back when they opened to again confirm the cancellation and explain why. I was then advised that I would not be 'allowed' a morning appointment in the future as I cancelled at short notice. A management decision I was told. Children get ill at short notice. I was also informed that I should have been charged a cancellation fee. But due to being a regular customer they would waive it. How nice, considering I have never been advised over the years that their is such a fee when scheduling appointments. I was more than happy with their customer service and product up until this point. And had recommended them to a number of friends. However their total lack of care and understanding this morning astounded me. I will no longer be using their services again. read more
