We have been renting a property through Provest and they have been fantastic. We rent had a main line break at our home causing us to have to shut off the water. It happened after hours but at 9:04 (they open at 9) I had a message and the process started for the repair. The water was back on by lunch. I've dealt with a handful of property managers over the last 20 years. Whether you're an owner or tenant, Provest is by far one of the best you'll find. They are responsive to calls and emails, always getting back to me within 24 business hours. They use the latest technology to manage their accounting and repair requests. They have quickly and economically handled any maintenance needs requested by me or the tenants. Provest does routine inspections complete with exterior and interior photos of each property, and when a tenant moves out, they do a comprehensive and fair assessment of damages vs normal wear and tear. Last but not least (and probably most importantly), they keep the properties rented! If you're looking for a property manager you can rely on and Provest serves the area, don't hesitate to hire them. read more

Shame we wanted to rent a lil winter cottage in wrightwood for a few months, while keeping our beach house here in Santa Monica as our primary residence .. just a fun thing for winter .. the owner agreed to the terms and I offered to pay upfront rather than share my financial documents despiste having a 780 credit score. They refused. Financials are private for a short term lease ( they had my social and ID documents etc I wasn't asking the moon ) especially considering the amounts of money my bizz runs and who my clients are. The whole process was clunky and odd. Def wouldn't want to be leasing through them. Girls were nice and everything just unable to process the tiniest change in protocol that really worked in their favor. Odd. And to reference the owners response. Denied ? Disappointed ? We walked away from that mess and booked a lovely little home through an actual professional realator for the winter. The only thing disappointing is the ineptitude of Provest Reality. If you're considering these guys, don't do it. There are plenty of excellent local options in wrightwood if that's your plan that understand the business and make it far more fluid, user friendly and approachable. As mentioned it was clunky and weird from the outset with un personalized " use the links on our website " responses as opposed to a human interaction which I needed cause we were applying for short term and had some unusual questions that aren't the norm. And we offered to pay cash upfront. Again, they were nice enough and I understand renting makes them zero money compared to sales, but go to a local office with local people if you're looking for decent customer service. I didn't want to share my client banking history due to the fact they are mostly high net worth and celebrity types.. The owner suggesting I'm mad cause I called them out on their lack of flexibility tells you all you need to know. We walked away from that mess...they aren't terrible they just aren't good and the salty response only proves it. God bless my instincts read more

I live out of state so it's very important to have someone reliable to take care of my rentals. The system they have is very good about tracking and documenting things which makes it easier to do my taxes.
