We decided to comeback for dessert and I am so glad we did. One of my friends warned me cheesecake in Europe (especially Germany) does not always taste like cheesecake in the USA, because many bakers use quark instead of cream cheese. Well, Copenhagen is awesome and this adorable cafe with amazing cheesecake that does taste like my favorite cheesecake in the USA, made my trip. I tried the chocolate genache cheesecake and my husband ordered the pecan carmel cheesecake. Our friends ordered the tiramisu cheesecake. All three were absolutely delicious. My only advice is: stick with what you know. When you ask for a suggestion of which of the two bottles of red the owner of the cafe suggests and his reply is that he doesn't know, and admits to knowing nothing about wine...you know you're in for something bad. I end with four stars: three for the tapas, five for the cheesecake & hygge. Pro-tip: from about April on, the front window gets direct afternoon sunlight and basically will result in you feeling like you're sitting in a sauna if you snag one of the two available tables there.
