This specific shop is located in the the heart of a very busy and touristy area. We were fortunate to not have to wait in line very long. We also were happy to grab a table for two right outside their shop. Made for great people watching while enjoying our snacks. Everything in their displays looked mouthwatering!! Decisions, decisions, decisions!! Finally decided to try two items while Wifey picked one. She enjoyed her choice. I forgot the name, but it was some sort of poppyseed bread. Vanilla Danish was what I ate first. It was tasty. Not too sweet for my tastebuds. (3.5 stars) Vanilla Kringle was fine. Would try something else next time though. (3 stars) 3.5 stars overall. Compared to the rest of the bakeries we tried in Copenhagen, they were A-OK. Absolutely give them a try if you see one of their shops. They may not be the best, but they are not bad at all.

Been here both weekdays and weekend and as you would expect weekends are busy. I like the sitting/dining area (which is part of the mall) next to their stand. You have an atrium feel with a variety of seating options. Tasty espresso beverages with a good variety of the sweetened coffee drinks. They also have Oatly as an option. A wide array of desserts/pastries as well some sandwiches. Servers were friendly. A good option for a quick refuel while visiting the mall.

There was one with a raspberry filling, a French lemon cake, and caramel with nuts (which we ended up picking). It looks like a cake, but the texture is grittier and not as soft as a sponge cake. Nonetheless, it had the perfect balance of a crunchy exterior and a relatively soft interior, topped with caramel goodness and sprinkled nuts. Service: the lady behind the counter was very pleasant and took the time to explain to us the different options. We were in and out in 3-5 minutes, and the cake was packed well enough that it survived a 30min walk home.

They experiment quite a lot, so don't always expect the same things besides the extremely popular pastries and bread (like poppy seed pastries, spandauer, etc).

Today my mum tried ordering a breakfast plate and was yelled at by the man working at the counter when she asked why the egg system was so corrupt. They serve very little food here. Personally, my brother and I usually go to the nice Lakaghuset next door for our food and we just get a semi-decent drink from Emmerrys. We have had so many bad and disappointing dining experiences at this particular Emmerrys and everytime we say we do not want to come back but my mum likes it here for some reason. Emmerys is in a prime location in the middle of Strandvejen with a lot of property to build the cafe on. They have put this space to waste and could be using it for much more if the staff here focused and put in more work. Emmerys is an okay cafe but there are much better ones on Strandvejen which I would suggest going to.
