My hair has sustained a lot of damage over the years (color, lightening, heat, you name it) and it really needed some help. She gave me a great deep conditioning, and the blow-out made it feel brand new! Prices are unbeatable, and the quality of service (in my experience) has always been top notch. The receptionist, who is also a stylist, always offers you water, coffee, and magazines while you wait, and the environment is clean and welcoming! They recently moved locations (all of two feet to the left of their previous studio), and it's much bigger and brighter. Looks and feels professional! I'm going in again for another deep condition, and I'm convinced this is the salon I'll stick with as long as I live in Arizona.

The woman who checked me in was seeing someone else and she alluded to the fact it was another stylist I was seeing. The other woman finished her customer right before 1pm, looked around and said her 1pm wasn't here yet. She made it clear she knew who her 1pm was by her statement and actions. She kept chatting with her previous customer, then started looking at photos on the phone of another customer. After chatting with her, she did some cleaning. By 1:20 pm, I am starting to get annoyed. Where is my stylist???!!! The chatty/cleaning stylist asked if I wanted a water while I waited, I said no I just wondered where my stylist was! The other lady who checked me in, and had been busy with someone else, piped up and said to the other lady, "SHE is your 1 o'clock! " The stylist then was essentially arguing with both of us about me being her 1 o'clock, as the person that booked the appointment had "short hair." Nope. My hair did not grow to the middle of my back since last week. She THEN asked if my mother booked the appointment! Uh, no. I am 40 years old, my mommy doesn't need to book my appointments for me. WTH! By now, steam was coming out of my ears. The other stylist at least looked chagrined by what happened. My stylist clearly wasn't going to take ANY responsibility for what happened and finally offered a weak apology. I told her to keep the appointment and her salon. I will never go back. Completely unacceptable.
