By 'family' I don't mean it in the usual definition- that it is kid friendly with lots of highchairs and booster seats and a chair for grandma. By the time you sit down , you hear the laughter and friendly banter going on between the staff and patrons. And between the patrons themselves sitting at another table. Soon you'll find yourself involved in the banter. As a single , old phart who eats out often, I find nothing so lonely as sitting by myself and being the only 'outsider' not involved in the general conversation. At CBR there are no strangers.
