They even omitted important statements I made during the appointment, and lied about things they said in the appointment notes. They also diagnosed me with opioid dependance after not finding any in my urine. The tested me for substances I had no idea they were testing for. Now my cancer treatment and diagnosis have been delayed over a year because they convinced me nothing was wrong with me. Made me feel crazy for reporting symptoms. The provider was completely incompetent and if my cancer has metastasized during this year I would not be surprised.

Feels like a fun dorm-setting with max 16 residence. I was hesitant to travel 1800 miles but I could not be more please with treatment I received for my depression and anxiety. The staff is world class. From Sherri, to Tonya, April, Matt, Cam, Cory to the compassionate nursing staff of Gabe, Kayla, Tu and Annie my care was handled with genuine love and caring. Kara the group leader is an absolute sweetheart who informs on real topics and teaches true mental health guidence, plus you get to go to The Plant Store every Thursday ( trust me it is a blast!)And i cannot forget Molly the amazing chef!!!. I will say this though, if you plan on going bring your own comforter, pillows and blankets. The beds are twin beds off the floor and not very comfortable . I actually had my husband send me a gel mattress topper and was good. Another item of note, no matter what the people in Florida tell you, you CANNOT have your phone, laptop, fan, razor or anything with a cord or battery. Some they will make you keep in a locker and can only use ( hair dryer, razor) under staff supervision. ​Smoke/vape times are weirdly staggered but you get used to it. The best part of the week is BINGO with Matt and it is an absolute blast!!! I would highly recommend this facility to anyone struggling with any mental health issue.

She relied on outlier, skewed data without exploring an understanding of how there could be such big differences across environments. We've since discovered problems with the other environment, and our perspective of our child was validated by other third parties. Leslie Blevins was truly cruel and insensitive, but with a smile and a nice voice. She simply didn't "get" our child and she didn't take the time to do so. She doesn't understand child development and pathologized normal child behavior. After other professionals who know our child read her evaluation, they responded that it felt like it was about a completely different child. I think at the core, it's that Blevins lacks the experience and a wider, broader view of child development. She also lacks caution, especially when it comes to applying measurement tools that were developed, validated, and normed during pre-pandemic period to children growing up during a pandemic. It may be that she's somewhat incentivized to see things with the glass half empty because that means you have to pay her for costly out of network services in order to fix the non-existent problems.
