We've recently moved my Grandmother and are desperately trying to get her healthy again. My Grandmother did not get needed medication for 3 weeks, it ended up being stopped suddenly which made her anxiety and dementia exasperated. When trying to talk to any staff, NO ONE EVER TAKES RESPONSIBILITY. It's always someone else's fault, that no longer works there. No apologies, no accountability. We were also told that when my Grandmothers LIFE SAVINGS had been exhausted she would be able to continue staying at Pacifica on Medicaid. Concerned because there had been SO many things that changed or were not true, we made an appointment to discuss this and other issues. We were immediately told NO she couldn't stay and again, It was the old employees fault for telling us that. It was always filthy, they are always short staffed and the urine smell is awful. When we moved my Grandmother out it became even more obvious how poorly she was cared for with the amount of dirt everywhere. They are building MORE houses and I'm wondering how they will be able to handle more residents? If you're lured in with the new construction, be sure you go over every single detail, because you can not take anyone's word. And if you have a loved one move in, be sure to be there every single day, be there for every doctor appointment, make sure you are aware of every medication. Basically, micromanage every little detail because you can not trust them to truly take care of your person.

These people have these fancy titles like Kirk the executive director and Vonnie is another director, then Steven apparently regional director down in the Billing office in San Diego. Not even the courtesy of one call back I've been calling these people for weeks. I've been nicely asking them to go over things with me and Kirk was very rude to my dad. He had just lost his wife and all they care about is money this place disgusts me. They're trying to charge us to renovate a room after we left it better than we got it. It was cleaned and the items were removed. These people only care about money. Be careful before you put your loved one here they'll act nice to your face, but as soon as the money stops, they could give a crap about you or your family! So to all you people over there with the fancy titles, you don't deserve them. You don't have the courtesy to call a person back asking for you to explain why you're charging for care and room and board the month after the person has passed away. This is a violation of CMS and Medicare. All you to say is refer to some paperwork, but you can't tell me which paperwork and where it is, you guys are a joke. I've been patient. I've been calling for weeks leaving messages. No one can call me back. You guys should be ashamed of yourselves. I'd like to thank Heidi, who has been able to help in her capacity and Jennifer the nurse at the location but other than that once the titles get higher, you people are despicable treating an older man who had just lost his wife like he's stupid and shove him out the door with an excuse of go read your paperwork. not acceptable! Watch out for Kirk. He cannot keep up with his lies. He says one thing to somebody, and then says something to somebody else he contradicted himself to me in the same day. We did read the paperwork and this phony language that you said is in there it's not there. I'm asking you to show me where this is why you're keeping over half my dad's money with some phony scheme of you're allowed to charge him for it. I have a bill showing charges for room and board for March and my mom passed away in February...horrible!

I have visited many places in our search for a top caliber Assisted Living Fac. for my parents. We found that Bristol Heights had everything we needed and wanted in a facility. 1. A superior administrator who has passion about running a great facility. Kim Johnson cares about the residents and she does not use the high pressure sales pitches and tactics that other administrators and facilities use. We appreciated her honesty about what my mother and father truly need. Kim exceeded our expectations on what we want from an administrator. 2. We were there why the cook was preparing the lunch from scratch. It looked and smelled like delicious homemade food. 3. The place was very clean (smelled clean too) and the rooms and facilities were cheery. The views from the rooms were beautiful too. My dad is always cold and the facility was warm like he likes it. They have fire sprinklers through out. 4. They have lots of activities there at the facility and in the community. My dad decided that he wants to live in California because of the colder winters in Idaho, and because of his age the cold weather will not work for him. Kim (being the professional that she is) told my dad that he gets to decide where he lives. My dad was getting pressure from my siblings to move to Coeur d'Alene. Kim pointed several facts for my dad to consider. Kim represents Bristol Heights extremely well and they are fortunate to have her.

We knew his health was declining, with Covid and after major Dementia set in about 2 years later realized we couldn't give Dad the specialized and excellent care he deserved. I was concerned when there was a change in ownership but have been blessed with a staff that is loving, caring and I am so happy that he is receiving the care he needs. They are still changing to make everything even better. Dad loves the food and all the staff and they love him !!!! Can't ask for more ! Working with Youthful has been a terrible experience! We were referred to here for my son when he…read morewas 8 months old for a delay in crawling. Things started okay. The PT, Ellie was nice, but not very helpful in suggestions, and not that hands on and if he was fussy at all would usually cut our sessions short. Once he was crawling she moved us to once a month. From there we did not hear from her for three months, while he was trying to walk. I kept texting and calling, asking about appointments and sending videos of his walking, which seemed off. Eventually we heard back and she referred us to get orthotic braces. (Something we could have done months ago). Then she left. We got a new PT, Aliece who was nice, much more hands on, and more helpful with exercise suggestions. A little ways into it, we were put on a once a month schedule and it would take up to 3 weeks to hear from her for an appt. Again, we were left for 3 months with no appointment, at which point, they wanted to discharge him, which after speaking with the owner, he said was an error on his part for lack of communication. I reiterated all of these problems that we've had and that communication seems to be lacking everywhere there. Here we are, a month after leaving their service and I just got a text from Aliece about scheduling William for an appointment, this is 3 months from his previous appt, a month after speaking with the owner and the PT had no idea that we weren't going to Youthful anymore. This was after speaking with the owner! Horrendous communication and scheduling! There needs to be guidelines. We've been with them for over a year, my son just turned 2. We also had a speech eval done after we, his dr, and teacher, all shared concerns about his speech and the therapist asked some questions and then wrote us off and said we'd check back when he was 3. She didn't even observe his speech. The priorities of this company and therapists are clearly not aligned with providing crucial therapy to young children so that they may move and talk through this world and to support families with children that require extra support. If you care about your child do not waste precious moments with a company that can't even communicate with each other let alone the parents.
