I was excited for my first psychic/energy reading 'cause I was feeling a bit lost and just looking for some sort of guidance. The moment I walked into this room, there were a few messes on the floor, like crumpled papers status that instantly made me feel un-special. Today was a very curious and exciting day for me. I didn't want to come with ridiculous expectations. Yet, didn't want to come with a negative mindset. I came to Samantha as a curious individual with an open mind. I was so nervous, a lot going on my mind. What will she tell me? What will I discover? With that said, I also came unprepared. I had no questions ready for Samantha. I just decided to walk in there and go with the flow. (I regret that now because I miraculously have quite a few now lol) So as the process began, she instructed me to ask her a question, and my unprepared ass tried to come up with one on the spot. I did finally hear from Samantha, who apologized several times for not getting back to me. It warmed my heart to hear personal accountability. She offered a free reading for my troubles, which I took her up on. In the reading, she was correct about many things. I told her nothing, and right off she started with an intuition about "a highly mentally unstable individual in my past who tried to ruin me...who told people everything I was doing to her, was actually everything she was doing to me." This was spot-on. And all I can say is, karma. She told me that I would be moving within the next year (which I have no plans to) but that it wouldn't be to Texas. That is a relief because I have never wanted to live in Texas! It also wouldn't be to Hawaii or Pennsylvania, also good because I've never envisioned living in those states, either. She was unable to see where I'd actually be moving to, if at all. I should have asked about the other 47 states. D'oh! Samantha also recommended a few fruits and veggies specifically for me...peeled cucumbers for one...("If you eat the peel, it will take away the benefit of eating the cucumber.") Um, ok. Apparently I've been sabotaging myself for years by eating the peel. Who knew? There were other things she said but I don't remember them. The reason for the -4 stars is that she does not allow her readings to be recorded. This seems suspect, for if one is concerned about legalities, I can't imagine any court taking a visit to a psychic seriously. Caveat emptor, no? I've had other intuitive readings and certainly college classes recorded, and no practitioner or professor ever objected. With the number of over-educated, unemployed college graduates out there these days, you'd think post-secondary schools would be a little more concerned about the actual viability of a college degree, eh? But they aren't. Things being what they were about her policy, I suppose if you have a good memory it's alright, but for me - thyroid error; memory gone. She offered pen and paper so I could write things down, but then told me she needed to hold both of my hands for the reading. So anytime I wanted to write something down, I had to break contact. It was disconcerting, and after a while I just gave up writing. It was a setup to fail. At the very least, she was unwilling to accommodate those with cognitive impairments. Days later I wish I had a recording of it because I remember only bits and pieces. I drove quite a distance for the reading, and even though it was free, I felt robbed of the chance to review what she'd said. Well ... I left the appropriate review for my first experience, however I need to update, NONE of The predictions or readings came true, BUT she was right outside the ball field with a few things, so I thought I'd give her another shot, the first visit was interesting at least.... so I called Samantha on Saturday , no answer, she called back promptly, I asked for an appt for Monday , she initially asked me to come at 4:30 but I had an appt at 4:30 elsewhere, so she said she could do 2:30.... she confirmed the appointment for today this AM through text, so at 12:30 today I get a text from her saying "just got a flat tire gotta cancel", I expected this, as I felt like she was hoping I'd cancel with her early morning confirmation, plus I wasn't getting a "pricey" reading either... so I didn't notice any true interest on her part. Had she said " hey could we reschedule or I'm sorry I'm not going to make it." Id feel differently but, "just got a flat gotta cancel", well that just turned me off completely. The reason I gave 3 stars because her prediction hasn't come to pass yet & won't for at least 2 months. The things she said about one of person didn't make sense at all. Moreover, she did not seem to know all other theories about soulmates & twin flames & wasn't interested to know, either. For me, that's a sign of arrogance. In any field, when you are arrogant, you stop growing & will not go far. I don't know how long a session was supposed to be, but it was 25 mins the most. She said because I wasn't into the session. The complaint was that my predictions did not happen. I don't know if they were based off me correcting my Chakra or not.
