This reader is a joke. Found her on Instagram. She goes by both psychic chakra and psychic Barbara. She never shows her face on anything. I should have never paid for a reading. I had many readings from other readers and have never been treated like she has treated me. I paid for a reading which gave me some information and I felt I needed more so I paid for her next level reading. Of coarse after paying she said she had family issues and would get to my reading when she could. Still three weeks later no reading. She even stopped responding until I told her that I felt that she was scamming me. Boy did she not like that. She feeds you lines of BS. Such as God connected us for a reason, you are unbalanced, and you don't need anymore readings you need to pay me $400 to help you balance. In calling her out. She said I was slandering her. No honey I simply stated how I felt. After reading other reviews I can see that she feeds everyone the same shit about needing to be balanced. Continuing from the previous review (because I ran out of space- please read previous review if you are considering this "psychic"): - So I'm a boss at work and she claimed I wasn't said "It frustrates you" but actually I call the shots at work, and have never been frustrated because.. uh.. Im the boss... what I say goes. - She told me three chakras were off balance and thats why I was asking "Why?": I'm not asking why... but this is an appeal to emotionally vulnerable people. - She asked ME for questions. I asked her about my husband and I. Her answer: She says my husband and I are soulmates, but there is some energy force that is not letting us connect/communicate and she would clear this for me for a price. (She mentioned a bunch of sessions) She told me a previous love had hurt me, actually no, I've broken up with all of my exes... which usually were 1-3 month relationships. I generally did not have time for relationships until very late in the game. And, my husband and I were separated. What gets me the most is that, any even MILDLY psychic person, or a person with perception, would immediately talk about this huge glaring thing in my relationship: He is a foreigner. In fact people that AREN'T psychic kind of figure it out. That's rock solid proof of lack of psychic ability by Barbara. - I asked about when the baby will be born OF COURSE like any eager momma. She said "It will really surprise you!" Honey, I was 36 weeks (I look small), anytime between now and my VERY SOLID SCHEDULED C SECTION would not surprise me, as many kids come early and 36 is almost full term. If by "surprise you" mean it's late, hate to break it to you, the kid is coming out whether it's ready or not. I did not mention this, but I had told her about health issues in the pregnancy so I'm surprised she wouldn't naturally deduce this LOGICALLY let alone psychically... Now what I also loved and found amazing is that she is a "spiritual" person but did not know the term "pantheist" - I found her whole demeanor a bit uneducated, but I don't judge that until you claim to be spiritual and don't know what a pantheist is. It essentially means I believe faith is the creator of all things, therefore all gods exist for the people who have faith in them. Every single God that still has a faithful believer. She told me I'd believe in God one day.. lady I just told you I believe in all Gods! Just FYI. So listen, peeps, if you run into Barbara, don't let her prey on making you feel "abnormal" or feel there are some imbalances making you ask "Why" - find a real psychic or at least a spiritual guide. I've paid more for a counseling session of the same length with much better results lol!! It was highly entertaining to compare notes afterwards and find out my twin and I had the same pitch! Oh man. What a riot! I regret nothing, but I really don't encourage anyone else to go to her, she is preying on people which is highly immoral to me. I'm the sister of the reviewer below. The psychic said "You feel out of place, like a black sheep." Um. No. I'm an identical twin, I have grown up with someone who is like me all my life, and we are now separately but continuously dealing with the experiences we all had growing up. In fact I would venture to say absolutely every human being who had the same or similar upbringing I did would have the same or similar core. Lots of very general things that absolutely made no sense to me. She also started with "money" as I think this is the most important thing in some people's lives. She told me I spend money as it comes. Actually, no, I don't. I'm not spendy and I don't spend lightly, but was encouraged by my awesome sister to go. I've had a healthy savings account for years, in fact, so much so, that I have been living in Cali for over two months and have several more to go before I run out. Thanks, though. She also awkwardly had me "put the $45 in your hand and then hold mine so I can feel the energy" and proceeded with the 'reading' on every subject but money. She said "three" of my chakras were out of balance, the same three as my twin, isn't that a coincidence! All the things she was right about could be assumed: I am creative (um. I'm wearing orange shoes, of course I am!) I am in "transition" (When are we not transitioning in life?) and that's about it. Her reading talked about parents, which I don't have, talked about being in love with my ex, which I haven't been since well before we split (thus, we split.) having some guy from the past come around (um, yes, when your facebook status turns to single, there will never be just one "guy from the past.") and asked me a lot of details, said she needed the answers to delve deeper. She even tried to finish a sentence for me, but it got awkward because she was talking at the same time as me. I think this was meant to look like she was finishing a sentence for me. Anyone want to join my insanely huge family and turn me into a baby making machine? She also says I'm kind, giving, helping and loving and honest. This is true, but she also described my twin as kind and giving, helping, loving and honest. My twin is assertive, dominant, generous, and extremely loyal, I love her to pieces, but wouldn't generally put her in the "kind" category. She's more in the "tell it like it is and suck it up" category. Thus, her review. Essentially, we had basically the same reading, but I paid $45 for it, and she paid $90. Barbara is amazing! I have been going through a really heard time the last 3 months and needed some guidance and answers. I went to see Barbara in 9/14 for a reading. I had a feeling that something was not going well in my love life. She confirmed what I had been feeling for many years regarding my situation. She was on point with everything that she told me in the reading. I agreed to start the work with her and give it a try. At first I was skeptical and was cautious of her. But I will say that she is not one to take your money and run. When I would tell her that I didn't have a certain amount, she didn't pressure me. She worked with me and was patient. What I love about her work is that God is at the center of it all. She would pray with me and give me spiritual devotionals to lift my spirits up. She would call 2-3 times a week to give me an update on our work progress and to check up on me. I could call her anytime of day and she would pick up or call me right back. She has been more than a spiritual adviser but also a friend. When I was preparing to move back East she offered to help me pack, brought me food and came over and blessed my apartment.
