Prior to that, my exposure to astrology was ankle deep - some books here and there, casual conversations with friends, Instagram memes. Looking back, I was driven by the desire to tap into a greater sense of flow and freedom by re-tuning the minutiae of my life to the essence of who I am. The birth chart is one fantastic way to do this, but it can get overwhelming doing it yourself especially as a beginner. I did extensive research and was determined to find an astrologer whose work and personality resonated with me on a gut level. Serendipitously, I came across Britten's website (thanks Google!) and I was immediately drawn to her writing style - which I would describe as the perfect balance of lucidity and poetry. I initially booked an Astral Integration session (3 hours total), to which I ended up adding an extra hour of recording, and I'm currently in the middle of my Transformation package (6 hours total). In addition, I'm also invested in her Seasonal Teachings, which are 4+ hours of 'transmission-style' recordings discussing the archetype of particular signs of the season (eg. Libra archetype for late September to late October), as well as a week-by-week breakdown of the planetary transits. As you can clearly deduce, I love working with her! I would argue it's one of the best decision I've ever made. Here are some of the reasons why. The multi-session structure of her readings worked particularly well for me. Rather than 1-hour readings, which is the norm for birth chart readings, she splits her reading into three separate parts: initial discussion, a recording of your birth chart reading which you can listen to deeply in your own privacy at your own pace, then a final follow up discussion to discuss how the reading resonates with you. The whole experience felt like a journey. It allowed me room and time to reflect on the wisdom she imparted on aspects of my chart and how I can usher in the deepest transformations. In hindsight, the potency of this structure is that it progressively allowed me to reclaim the responsibility of transforming my own life. The time and space between readings are almost as valuable as the readings themselves because that's where the work truly happened for me. I don't see a lot of astrologer using this structure, so kudos to Britten for creating such a powerful container. The readings themselves were incredibly spot on for me. It's no easy task to facilitate clients as they journey into their own Underworld, but Britten helped me unearth some precious information about ancestral pains that I'm sure I'll continue to work on for a while. Her tarot reading was also very thought-provoking and I'm excited to see how it can shape the next 12 months of my life. I'm so very grateful of the work she's doing with her clients and of everything else she's putting out into the world. Britten does an excellent job of explaining all aspects of your chart, in a way that's easy to absorb. She has various options of readings, depending on what you are looking for, but with each one she gives you information that remains relevant for months to come. The way I describe it is my personalized astrological encyclopedia, complete with important dates, important planetary shifts, etc. that I am able to go back to and reference. So on 2-7-20, I was driving to go to Kroger and on my way, I came across this shop known as above the - 7 chakras shop. I wasnt going there until I saw it and it caught my eye as I was always fascinated with the supernatural as I have had paranormal / supernatural experiences myself. Anyway I met Hannah, the store owner once I decided to go in and just check it out. So I was talking to her, and became immeidately interested once she told me she was a reader and psychic. Anyway, soon after that. She asked me if I needed help with a reading and then she gave me a price and package which I said yes too.. LONG STORY SHORT: At first I was hestiant but after us talking more and more she was telling me stuff about an important past lover and she was spot on accurate! As I was wanting help and telling her I want to be with her again and she was telling me just stuff about her I already knew. She even knew what I was and wanted to be for my dreams and goals and NEVER mentioned to her what I am or want to be. So anyway, Hannah is a nice person. She could have told me the last thing to do but instead she wanted to help more since from my feelings and emotions aside from being a client that she wanted to help me out. So as the 4th session is in the works. One day, she stops answering my calls and text messages. I was so puzzled because I didnt see this coming and truly had my hopes up and wanted to have my long desire happen. Hannah ignored me and discontuined me like that... Yes very upset, frustrated and overall dissapointed. Now, Hannah is a good nice person. She did come through with the 3 sessions for the deal on price she gave me. But, ignoring me.... stop talking to me, leave me clueless with no direction what else to do? This is the most unfrotuante thing any real psychic can do. If she wanted too during the 3rd session. She could have told me later what I needed to do instead of deliver false hope which to this day still bothers and affects me badly.... not helping im a Cancer for my zodiac. WATCH OUT FOR YOURSELF: So anyone who does this, be prepared for psychics to "maybe" do stuff as Hannah did. I truly do not like speaking of this for people.
