I…read morelooked on thumbtack and decided to increase the distance out to Clearwater (about an hour and a half away from where I live) and found Jamie who had good reviews, and I then went back to my browser and cross searched to see if anything else came back, and everything I saw was positive so I booked and I was not disappointed. I felt completely at ease with Jamie, like I have known her and been friends with her my entire life. This usually isn't the case for me, so it's definitely a good thing. I have never had a reiki Attunement before, but I have had a massage done which contained reiki healing and I can tell you it's not the same. The session is more conversational at first, then she scans you while you are laying back with headphones on and you are concentrating on breathing and positive energy. Then afterwards we talk about what reiki is, what it has the power to do, what it cannot do, how we can become stronger and confident in ourselves, our gifts/reiki. She took time and answered all my (many) questions and helped with my even more curiosities. Then we do a meditation, and then the Attunement is given. The Attunement is for life and doesn't go away. I will for sure be attending other sessions with Jamie and looking forward to learning so much more on this journey. Although I enjoyed my few visits with the therapist they paired me with, I did not feel that any of my visits met the description above. I am most disappointed that this practice double dipped. I was required to pay out of pocket and according to my insurance they also took payment from them. This practice continually has told me they didn't receive any payment from my insurance, even though I can see the paid and submitted claim from my insurance; who also confirmed that they paid them.

I believe the employees may be great individuals *outside* of work, but this place needs to re-evaluate how they interact with their patients. My advice, SEEK HELP ELSEWHERE.

I just left my first Healthy Back Yoga Wall class with Justin and I feel magnificent! My back feels so stretched and my entire body feels open and limber. Justin is a patient and caring instructor and you can tell he has such a great knowledge of the human body and spirit! He leads the class with such joy and a great sense of humor. I felt a feeling of release and calmness through my entire body after the mediation. Like whatever it was I was holding on to just vanished. With the mindfulness workshop, I felt like i shifted into a a really high state of gratitude and appreciation, that just came naturally. I was living on a cloud just being super grateful for all things little and big, it was different than anything I have ever experience. I am looking forward to the next one! Highly recommend!
