I've only been twice but she literally fixed my eyebrows the very first appointment after getting them done somewhere else for a few years and looking odd shaped and almost as if I had no eyebrows. I always ask for Dimpi, I am very particular about my eyebrow and the amount of care and quality that is needed and given by Dimpi is unmatched!! I've been coming to PT Salon Pleasanton since back when their prices were $12 for eyebrow threading. They've been pretty consistent with quality of service. I wish they updated their websites with pictures and names of their aestheticians and when they're available. Since the Dublin and Pleasanton locations are about a mile apart looks like they move around between the locations. Also I wouldn't recommend coming in without an appointment if you're in a rush as wait times can vary from 5-30 minutes since they allow walk-ins for all threading services and they are often staffed with only one member. read more

I went in for a pretty standard eyebrow and chin threading service (advertised on their website and board as $15 each) but ended up with a $65 surprise bill AND serious red bumps on my face. During the service they would quietly say things like "I'm going to use hard wax" or "there's some hair on the side here I'm going to get that too" to which I nodded along because little did I know that was code for doubling the price for each service and for adding more services. These "upgrades" are not listed anywhere in the salon or website, I was not informed of the extra cost and they are not standard at other salons I called it out when I saw the bill and all they did was argue with me, finally taking off $10 and still insisting I pay for the upgrades and extra service that I never asked for. By the time I came home I found I had big red bumps on my chin that I've never had before. Absolutely ridiculous. Stay away from this place. read more

I've tried at least a handful of threading salons around the East Bay. The PT seems to own a few shops from pleasanton, Dublin, castor valley, etc. I've been to pretty much all of these locations because I trust them. It's very easy to mess up my eyebrows because one of natural thicker and has a high arch, so I never want to be overly threaded just a clean up to maintain the shape. I will drive to pleasanton specially for the pleasanton location. I work near by so if I'm not going after work I'll plan to make a trip out there. It's worth a try. I went to get my hair colored (mostly for greys), showed her a reference image and told her what I was looking for in terms of colors that would suit my skin tone. Of all the stylists I have been to, Homaira was the fastest to understand what I wanted and boy! She delivers. She mixed a custom color to suit my needs and I am super impressed with the results. Unfortunately, the one time we were not able to make it to this location and to Kiran, and went to another threading salon we had nothing but a horrible experience. They always have someone new working there. Whenever I've complained to them in the past they make excuses and offer me to not pay. Money does not bring back my brows. This is my go to place now after their Dublin location. The more experienced folks are here and it's quiet, less waiting time and bigger rooms. I prefer it here! Mandeep, Raman and Dimpi are my favorite people here for all the services. Oh, and I recently realized they always had a head massage on their list but I never tried it. I finally tried and I loved it. Took the 30 min head massage and I felt so relaxed. I would suggest they add a an essential oil such as tea tree or peppermint oil on the scalp before the hot oil, it would be so much more relaxing! read more
