We had tried another therapist, but we believed that they did not understand Avery and often became very frustrated with him. Mrs. Michelle evaluated Avery and created a plan with goals for us to track. She began working with him once a week, gently coaching him and encouraging us to practice at home. Each week, she gave us a variety of exercises to work on. We saw amazing progress as we hit each goal she had set. We worked with her for about a year before Avery started K4. He now speaks well and is doing very well in school. We highly recommend The Communication Spot and Mrs. Michelle, as she is just amazing. We are very thankful for her.

After my initial visit, I noticed that the therapist, during subsequent services spent a total of 5 - 10 minutes of hands on treatment and the rest of the time was spent on exercising. I stopped going mid stream because, they were literally draining my insurance for things I could do at home. Four treatments totaled over one thousand dollars. What did I receive from this, I am not sure. But I am thankful that I had common sense to halt treatment. Clearly, this is a volume business.
