He took his time taking measures of the hand that needed surgery. Dr. Starr made us feel comfortable about the upcoming operation. All staff members were welcoming and friendly. During the follow-up visit after the surgery Rachel was helpful and explained to us how to exercise my husband's hand to help the healing process. We can highly recommend this facility. They tell you up front you will be taken care of and manage your pain BUT that is not the case. My wife has had a terrible experience with this practice. After the surgery the Doctor prescribed medication ( Severe Asthmatic clearly in my wife's medical history) with a warning of Severe Asthmatic don't take! My wife is a Severe Asthmatic. So when she would not take the medication fearing breathing issues.. they would not prescribe anything else for the pain. Over a week she went without meds in severe pain. Then they prescribed Tramadol which did not help the pain. Called office "crickets" days go by and when they respond no solutions. This is an ongoing issue but my suggestion is FIND SOMEONE ELSE and ask alot of questions before trusting the Orthopedic practice has your best interest in mind. They want your money but do they treat you correctly as a patient with you best interest in mind. Not here on the latter. Also: Dr Bilotta did not give adequate information before or after operation. General info like ice is your friend but not details like after 1st week need to use ice 20 minutes every 2 hours at most (per Physical Therapist ) when this was supposed to start who knows because the Doctor sure didn't tell us. Also not informed that blocker used pre surgery could leave you with feeling not returning in some areas. This blocker is used so that you won't need to be on as much narcotics after surgery... Communication from Pinnacle is TERRIBLE! Note: EVEY is terrible nurse/representative for Pinnacle and Dr. Bilotta. Very disappointed in this Dr's office.

My Kyphoplasty was scheduled 2 weeks in advance for a 7;15 am arrival Monday morning 4/6/26. Upon arrival, we saw the entire office staff was waiting outside. They had been locked out of their own office! Apparently the internet went down overnight. No IT support. 45 minutes later a maintenance worker showed up with hammer and chisel! An hour later, the surgeon took over and started using the hammer. Finally, at 8:45 we finally got in. After the staff got themselves settled we gave them our name and the time of our appointment (7:15) - we were instructed to take a seat. Odd they never gave us a clipboard to fiill out. Which gave us plenty of time to stare at their waiting room "Island of Doctor Moreau" wall mural. After another 30 minutes. we re-approached the desk, THEY HAD NO RECORD OF OUR SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT!!! and DEI hires were content just to let us just sit there. After raising hell, a NP went back and talked the surgeon Dr. Ehlishabi, (we asssumed). Another NP came out and said they might be able to fit us in around 1:30! THE LAST THING ANY PATIENT WANTS - IS TO BE RUSHED INTO SURGERY THAT THEIR STAFF WAS NOT PREPARED FOR!! - WE LEFT - Never saw Dr. Ehlishabi. And that wall mural? It turned out to be an Omen!!!

A few years ago prior to extensive shoulder surgery, I Googled "best shoulder physical therapy near me." What I ended up finding was the best group of therapists I could hope for. Since then, both my husband and I have continued to see them to heal from more shoulder surgeries and my two hip surgeries in the past six months. Fortunately these hip surgeries occurred in two calendar years because my insurance only allows 20 sessions per year -- period. (Don't get me started on the lunacy of that!) I work with Laura V. most often and Amanda as my therapists with DJ or Abigail as my usual aide. From the front office staff to everyone in the therapeutic area, everyone is so professional and kind. Should you have any need for physical therapy (and who doesn't?!) and live in the Acworth area, this is your place. I have referred them to so many friends, and I am happy to post this review.

The billing department actually owes me money. They've owed me for three months. I've called, spoken to 3 people. Yet a check was never sent to me and I'm still owed money. I've never received it. The other issue is calling the phone line is like calling the IRS. 10 prompts through the IVR. Sometimes you get someone, other times you get a VM. It's very frustrating. Aside from the difficultly reaching folks there , the fact I was spammed with bills, when they owed me and still haven't paid me. It was a good experience.
