History

Established in 1972.

The first Public Storage building opened in El Cajon California, but the new business was only supposed to be temporary. Two partners pioneered the concept as a way to use their real estate investment while they waited for the Southern California community to take off and value of their land to grow. They kept building, and people continued to fill their units. Eventually the pair realized that self-storage was here to stay, and they never looked back. Today, there are thousands of neighborhood Public Storage locations to choose from, many right around the corner from you.

Then go up on the price after putting a few items on the truck. Then after that STILL DID NOT GET EVERYTHING. Left a whole trip behind and "go down on the price" but turn around and go right back up on the price again while headed to the drop off location (SO UNPROFESSIONAL). Then try to go up on the price AGAIN and refuse to unload my items and tried to say that's the price that's owed is without the deposit ,but the whole time telling me that was the full pricing of the move "which should include the deposit" Long story short I was FORCE to OVER PAY than what was agreed THEN still have to MAKE 1 move TRIP with a truck ($200) AND the MESS up my NEW CONSTRUCTION WALLS and LEFT EVERYTHING ON THE 1ST LEVEL and in the Garage... I rented a unit through their website. When I arrived at the location, the gate code would not…read morework. The gate was open about 18 inches. I called the number (no office on site) and was told that the gate is broken and would be fixed in the next couple of days. She said I could walk over and just pull the gate open. I told the lady that would not work. I grew up in the apartments across the street and know that is not a safe area. I am not willing to have my possessions protected with only a padlock and no secure gate. I asked for a refund. She said she would contact the owner and get back to me. The previous review where they said they would give a refund is laughable. I never stepped foot on the property and requested a refund within 2 hours of placing the order when I learned that they could not secure my belongings. I went back to the facility a week later, and the gate is still ajar and the chain is still laying on the ground. They may eventually get the gate fixed, but the fact remains that the owner refused to give me a refund when it was pointed out my property could not be secured and never even entered the property.

I recently moved and used Mighty Titans to help me load and unload the U-Haul we rented. When I…read morefirst moved to the area, I used Two Men and a Truck and did not have the best experience. I can happily say that this was not the case with Mighty Titans. I asked for a quote on Yelp and Ginger contacted me within 24 hours to answer all my questions. The movers, Anthony and Rick, showed up and didn't waste any time surveying the house and loading the truck. They worked diligently, knew just how to load and unload the truck to fit everything, and were very polite. Everything got to our new house just like it was when we packed it and they helped put the furniture back together. While carrying furniture into the new house, the movers nicked the wall going up the stairs. It was an honest mistake and they were genuinely sorry that it happened. Ginger was quick to help us resolve the issue, and they again apologized for the error. Overall I had a great experience and would absolutely recommend using Mighty Titans. Of note, I used a 26ft U-Haul truck and only reserved the movers for 4 hours when really it took 5 (they just charge you after the fact if you go over). I would recommend at least 5-6 hours if you are going to use that size truck. Also make sure that you get an appliance dolly and furniture pads if you need them. The Mighty Titan movers only bring a regular size dolly and a toolkit for furniture.

I didn't want to push him, so we hired someone else to do the heavy lifting. I spoke with Ginger on and off about the service, price and method of payment accepted. On our agreed upon date, two young men showed up at the agreed upon time. The minimum time allotment was 2 hours and that wasn't a problem. I quickly showed them around and put them to work. They were very respectful and careful with my items. We relocated a sectional, another large sofa, an entertainer from the garage, and lots of boxes. At the end of our time, Ginger was called and she sent an electronic invoice which I was allowed me to pay without providing my credit card info over the phone which is a pet peeve for me. All in all a great service. I wish I knew the fellas that help with my particular move as I'd request the same team. That would be nice.
