I am going to use this public storage to store my personal valuables. I have a friend that used this storage after we looked at several and compared security, location, price, and value and this location won. I stopped by to ask questions and was met by a gentleman that seemed very busy carrying a ladder back inside the main office. He tried to put the ladder down but I told him I could wait for him to put it up and I held the door for him to make it easy. Even though I could tell he was busy, he stopped and answered all my questions and made me feel 100% comfortable with them. For location, price, and the customer service I received so far, I would definitely suggest this storage location. read more

Nice facility, easy to get in and out of, very clean and helpful LOCAL staff; however, Public Storage in general is a horrible corporation. Had the same unit since July with the same price, then receive a letter today that my rate was going up over $20 starting Jan. 1st. Contacted customer service and they basically told me that they raised my rate to "stay competitively priced" with other storage facilities in the area, and "If price is an issue, we will gladly see if we can find another less expensive storage unit that meets your needs." Yeah, a smaller unit isn't going to work with what we're using it for, but thanks for your concern. So; if you need a unit for a month or so, this would be a nice place. If looking for a storage facility near Noblesville, I would look elsewhere. Public Storage has continuously dropped the ball and no one that I talk to has any authority to make changes. I have had a unit there for over 2 years. I booked a 10x10 drive-up unit. I had a few price increases over the 2 years, but never complained about them. However, the last price increase I received was a 350% increase over my current rate. I was given given written notice 18 days in advance, even though my contract says you are supposed to be given 30 days notice. I called their customer service line and they couldn't give me any information. I emailed them and received no response. I stopped in multiple times to speak with Kevin, the property manager, and he was unable to help. My next step was to try to get my unit switched to my company's name in order for them to pay for the unit. The only way they are able to do this is to set up a new account. However, there are no storage units to book, so I would have to pay even more for this to happen. My rate increase from April to May was 350%. The rate I was offered with the switch was an additional 55% over the previous price increase. This has been an insane waste of time. Public Storage's email is "wecare@publicstorage.com" which is humorous because they've proved they don't care and won't even respond to the email. 2 voicemails left with supervisors of their customer service team also went unanswered. I will take my business elsewhere and will encourage others to do the same. read more

I am a current customer with this location and was charged a late fee of $63.80 (20% of my total) for no apparent reason. I am setup on autopay, my CC actually showed the pending storage payment on the due date and suddenly July 7th, I get an email autopay was disconnected and here is my late fee. After finding out, I took action and called the store, left 2 VM's and called the customer service line and I could not reach anyone. The property manager calls July 8th to find out where my payment was and never heard my voicemails. I explained the situation and he said he submit a request but has no authority to wipe or the fee. He told me I can pay online and leave the late fee until we hear back. What's frustrating is that I am on autopay to avoid this exact problem and here we are. The property manager claimed claimed a representative "called" my cell on July 4th and it was busy? I find it strange because I have no record of a call or voicemail and my phone works just fine so it is possible they dialed the wrong number if they noted a busy signal. Overall, I find it "bad business" and un-ethical to charge a good paying customer a late fee ( $63.80) without warning, especially considering I took action the minute I was notified via email (July 7th) and all my contact information & card info is correct. So far no one at this business can explain why it disabled so apparently it's automatically the customers fault? I have paid for the normal storage amount of $334 plus this late fee, how ridiculous! The property manager was helpful and gave me the district manager name ( Beau) and phone number. I left a voicemail with him and still waiting to hear back. If you need a storage unit look somewhere else. They have outsourced customer service so it's hard to speak to someone and clearly they don't care about their customers and just want your money. I'm already paying a sky high rate for our unit! I will not be recommending this location or business to anyone after this! read more
