RENTERS BEWARE!! If…read moreI could rate this business with negative stars I would. Although the facility is fairly new and clean it is also very high priced and miss advertised. I rented three 10x20 units on line and by phone while in Illinois, upon arriving in Florida and storing household items in two of the units I found third unit for my pick-up truck was too small because my truck is 19 feet long. These particular units are actually 9'3"x18'9". When I went to the office to see what my options were, the only thing they could suggest was an outdoor parking space which I accepted and went back to Illinois for two months. While in Illinois I received an email that stated the asphalt was scheduled for resealing the next morning and that all vehicles on the side needed to be moved to the other side of the lot. This was less than a 24 hour notice and I was 1100 miles away. I replied to the message and said that it couldn't be moved, I also stated that I trusted no damage would be done to my truck. I also made a follow up phone call to management. John the manager said they would just go around my truck and fill in later. When I arrived in Florida I found that they had gone around my truck. What John failed to tell me is that they would be spraying the black asphalt sealer and made no attempt to cover and protect my white truck in any way. As a result my truck was covered with black over spray. When I went to the office with the complaint, John took pictures and asked me to get an estimate to clean it off, and said they would take care of it. I brought an estimate to him after several days of trying to find a detail shop or body shop to do the work. He said he would be in touch, weeks went by with no communication, so I stopped by the office to see about progress and he told me they need two estimates, so I provided three total. Weeks went by and all communication stopped. I finally had to refer the problem to my insurance company and almost six months later my truck is being cleaned by a local body shop, no thanks to John. This manager is a complete two faced liar. He led me on by having me run all over spending my time getting estimates and then just blew the whole thing off. To anyone looking to store their Car, Truck, RV, Boat or anything else BEWARE! If damage occurs to your personal property StoreRight will not take any responsibility for it even if they're the ones who cause the damage.

Today, I was left with an awful experience dealing with this storage owner. She had a vendetta…read moreagainst me from the start because of the pervious owner of a unit i bid on Monday morning. I was given u til Friday before 9am to have everything out of the storage unit; which I did.. I've never bid on a storage unit before and I I sure got an experience. Allow me to make sure you know what you're getting into if you are like me and are new to this. This facility gives you 72 hours. 72 hours. To move everything. Tuesday and Thursday the business is appointment only and closed. So, doesn't it seem far to not even count those days for the 72 hrs if the office is closed? Which, if I'm being honest, seems like no time at all to get all items out of the unit. Other places I've seen give 45 days, 75 days etc. I wasn't looking for that long maybe 5 days, the most. Not sure about anyone else, but I work m-f and 2 of those days are 11 hrs shifts. Also, I have a toddler. So, time management isn't on my side. However, I got everything out of the unit from the second floor. Big furniture and dressers, bed, etc. Now, some items couldn't fit in my sedan car to move it so I have to leave it next to the garage dumpster. I was bc told not to leave anything out of the dumpster. My plan was to go back with a sledgehammer and demolish the furniture to fit it in the dumpster. Unfortunately, when I returned to the dumpster after I got off work on Friday afternoon, the items were gone. Because of that, she kept my $200 cleaning deposit. I understand I didn't meet her 72 hrs deadline but seriously?? Stating she had to call and have someone break down the stuff that was outside. Why? I said I would do it. And, I'm working with limited time but I would do it. She did not care. No thanks given to this business owner for not being compassionate and supportive of your fellow community member. It's just unfortunate that in today's world we are all struggling with inflation and it is hard getting by with what you earn. She was cold and callus to a single mother and could care less. That's cool. You're running a business, and the bottom line is your dollar: now you've got $199 more. So, again thank you for showing me your true colors. When on the phone, she was super combative with me and wouldn't allow me to speak up for myself. Interrupting me at every moment. This is the type of individual you will be dealing with at this business. Next time, I know better.
