We had MBM Enterprises move us into a storage unit for work to be done in our condo last weekend. It was the second time we've used them. Once again, the whole experience was without any trouble of any kind. It was easy to work with the office staff for scheduling. They communicated really well, their estimate was very close to actual cost and they followed thru on everything they said they would do. They sent 4 movers who were all outstanding. Josh, Walter, AJ and Carson were perfectly reliable, careful with our belongings, worked very hard and accomplished our move much faster than I expected. John and his crew (3 movers in total) were amazing! They came to us in Winter Springs from the coast on time. They protected the door ways, were careful with the walls, our furniture, and were personable as well! They were very honest with every step in the process and with the billing. We were on the hunt for a moving company to help move furniture and boxes from one residence to another 40 miles away. Most companies we contacted on Yelp wouldn't provide any details via message and simply asked us to call them. No thanks. Some companies did respond, but discussed both price per hour and pricey fees. MBM answered all of our questions via message and informed us of their current pricing: $112 an hour for 3 men and a truck. Ian, PJ and Al were kind, professional and hard-working. I'm going to start this review by saying how much I hate moving. As I get older, movers are a must as it's not as easy to get a bunch of buddies to come over and help you move for a 6-Pack and some pizza and wings like it used to be. Anyway, when I moved a year ago, I hired movers and it wasn't the best experience. Definitely not the worst, but it just wasn't good in my book. This time around, I looked into MBM Enterprises, and I'm sure glad I did. These guys were fantastic. Maybe it was a combination of me being properly prepared or just the crew, but from the moment they arrived, it was just good all around. First off, they were on time. Always appreciative of a business that arrives in the time frame that they provide you. I had my day planned around them and had to be to work later that day, and by being on time and finishing up exactly 4 hours later, this was worthy of the rating alone. Secondly, they have great pricing and no hidden fees. A few movers give you a price, and then they want to add on for the truck in addition to the exorbitant price already. Not here. And the timer didn't start until they arrived at my location. Big plus as they came from the coast and I'm in Orlando. Next, they weren't lazy. My last movers were slackers and took their time moving stuff, which I'm sure extended the time. Other than their one allotted break, these guys kept busy and moved right along. Finally, they were all friendly and personable. We had conversation and they remained polite and courteous the entire time. This speaks volumes for the owner and who he hires for his crews. By the end of it, I bought them all some cold drinks from Wawa as a thanks for all of their hard work and my stuff was moved from my 3 bedroom apartment to the storage unit with no damage and in a timely manner. I'm going to make sure that I use them again when I get into my next permanent place because I can't go wrong with these guys. Be VERY careful with this company! We unfortunately used them in September 2019. The workers seemed nice, but wow were we foolish to trust them. They changed the price mid-move with our items still in their truck saying they had to because it was taking longer than they thought - But that was because only half of the staff worked at all, while the other half sat, watched and complained about being too sore to do their job. Also, the 16 minute drive between the two properties took them 40 minutes for some unexplainable reason. They damaged flooring in both homes, damaged multiple pieces of furniture, dropped some of our clothes on the front lawn, and one mover dropped a sound system right in front of me, shrugged his shoulders and just stared at me, like I was supposed to pick it up!! They even had the audacity to URINATE everywhere except inside the toilet in one of the bathrooms at one house!! We found the mess the next morning. It was so bad my eyes burned upon opening the door! They literally would have had to turned their backs to the toilet to produce some of the puddles on the floor and the stains up the walls! I have photos to prove all of it, which I did email to the owner as requested. First, they denied most of it. Then lied and told us our neighbors had said our dogs had peed in that bathroom when asked by the moving company. Not one of our neighbors was home the weekend we moved. The neighbors were never present to have ever spoken with the movers nor the moving company. The owner lied to us about ever contacting our neighbors. Also, our dogs had been removed and were with a service person/witness elsewhere prior to the movers ever arriving. Lastly, the owner took months to make any attempt to remedy the situation. He was ridiculously unreasonable and untrustworthy. After months, we gave up out of shear frustration and exhaustion. Guess that's what he was hoping. I told the owner that I would be this writing a review. He told me to go ahead, they had lots of other big contracts. BEWARE!!!!! read more

MBM moved my son and family from a condo on Merritt Island to one in Rockledge. They were very friendly, efficient and careful with his things. I liked the fact that the company charges by the hour and does not include the time to get to the location or to get back to their office. Extremely unprofessional!!!!!! I specified to Brenda that I needed the movers at my home at 9am sharp because I had a tight schedule and inspection for my new home already scheduled. She said no problem and collected my $175. The next day I received a call from the mover (not her) saying he would be 20 minutes late because someone didn't show. They ended up being over 30 minutes and caused me to miss my appointment. I called Brenda 3 times with no answer and the last time I called "someone" hung up on me. Before I paid, I made sure to make a verbal agreement about my schedule and BRENDA CONFIRMED. Only reason I'm giving an extra is because the movers did a great job packing. Alright, I used MBM to move recently, the movers John, Leon and Scott showed up at my house on time, they were extremely friendly, they walked thru the house so I could explain what was going and what was staying... They immediately got to work. It was brutally hot, side note, moving in August is dumb, anyway... Their attitude and work ethic never wavered.. they joked WHILE they worked, no standing around, no nonesense.. these cats were there to do business... They were all very careful with my belongings, nothing was damaged or scratched, I was very pleased with their service , their attention to detail and their overall concern for my property. Also, I have a 700lb safe that needed to come with me, several other movers was an extra $250 for this alone, MBM didn't charge extra, also for the $118 an hour I got 3 men, all the others at this price send 2 men.. John, Leon and Scott as I said, showed up on time and they were done within the time frame I was quoted. God forbid I ever move again, but if I do... You can be sure I am getting these guys! Wow!!! After many estimates we landed with MBM for our move a few months ago. Mike was very helpful and was able to provide me an estimate for our move and brief storage (as our closing dates didn't align) over the phone. The price was very competitive and they were even able to accommodate a change in dates. I appreciated the communication leading up to the packing and the delivery. We had one team pack up our single story house - AMAZING JOB!!! Nothing broken or forgotten/missing!! They were done before we anticipated and were very professional while completing the job. I arranged the move for my mother in law moving from the east coast of FL to the Tampa area and found MBM through Yelp. When I saw how many little things she wanted to move I realized it may work better to do a fixed vs hourly rate.. MBM gave a reasonable fixed rate compared to other movers and their Yelp rating persuaded me that they were a good bet. Although I didn't see the pickup process, we did meet the movers on the Tampa end. Both gentlemen were hard working and polite. I think they enjoyed some of our comments regarding the amount of stuff being moved which made the delivery process easy going with some humor mixed it. Recently moved from a 3rd floor, no elevator 1bedroom apartment to another apartment 30 miles away on the fifth floor. With such a large move for one person, I hired movers for the first time to ease the stress and after working with Kenny and Kevin, I couldn't be happier! They were very friendly, respectful and very detail oriented. Nothing was broken and they even helped with items I didn't know I needed help with! If I ever move in the Orlando area again, I'd hire them in an instant. I just moved here from Indiana and needed a couch for my new home. A friend offered to give me one but needed it moved out next day. Panicked, I went to Yelp's site and started calling. Some movers could not do it on such short notice. Some charged a minimum of three hours which added up to $300+. I only needed one couch moved 11 miles. MBM got back to me within minutes of the yelp contact and were able and willing to help me. They only charged $150 - but gave me million dollar service. They showed up when they said they would. They were friendly, polite, extreemly professional and Covid consious. I could not have asked for more. I would recommend these people to anyone - and would use them again in a heartbeat. MBM Enterprises were extremely accommodating to our needs. Their workers were hard working and very personable.

I'm not going to question the other reviews but they sure didn't match the service or anything for that matter. The worst movers I have worked with in 20 years, as a US military veteran and DoD contractor working overseas, I have moved at least 30 times between cities, states and countries, by myself, movers and full service. I picked MBM because of the reviews, the price was decent but what a disappointment, so I hired them for full service (packing/moving) a 2 bedroom apartment, 3 guys to move less than 10 miles. Let's start with my own past experiences, I would have done it by myself in probably 12 hours maybe 14 at most. I would expect a professional team of 3 to do it in 4-5 hours, 6-7 hours if everything was packed like amazing and all the furniture wrapped, etc. Omg, it took them 9.5 hours, mind you this is a small 2 bedroom apt in which only one person lived in, so it wasn't even fully furnished. The packing was so awful, I mean for example they packed a $2500 gaming laptop in a box with no wrapping and against one of the walls of the box, this is what not to do 101 folks, here is the worst part on how bad these guys are, the laptop bag was packed in the same box but without the laptop inside, so ridiculous and unacceptable. At least wrap the laptop with something, they even put a blanket in the box but didn't use it to wrap laptop or anything. I told the office I was going to store or move some stuff to another location, so I asked to wrap the furniture well, he said oh yeah everything will be bubble wrapped, yeah nothing, they didn't wrap anything, all they did was put some big elastic thing on the furniture with some very light padding if any. This is how bad they are, let's go back to the 9.5 hours, mind you, I'm paying by the hour. When they dropped the stuff off, everything fit in half a 2 car garage, so just imagine how awful they have to be to have 3 guys pack (very awful packing) what would fit in half a garage and spend 9.5 hours doing it. I would never hire them again and I don't recommend them at all, I mean sometimes you don't get the best crew, but it was just awful. $1300 down the drain, by far my worst packing/moving experience ever. The guys were very nice, but then again they were milking it to charge more. I don't even want to start on how they packed the TV's. Do not hire!!!! Since someone is claiming they have no record of this and sent me a message to remove the review. DO NOT USE THESE MOVERS!!! Was originally quoted $500 (give or take) for packing and moving our 1 bedroom apartment. Was told this move should take between 4-5 hours from start to finish.They sent two men out on day of move and both said they needed more help and larger truck before even starting. After about 3.5 hours I began to physically help the movers with my stuff because we had not even finished packing up half of the apartment at that time. Another hour later and we had most of the large items that I would have been unable to move by myself in the truck. At this time the truck was full top to bottom and we still had about half of the apartment left to move. We went to our new home and I had them unload everything at which time we found damage to multiple items. I was told to contact the office and speak with the owner about getting the damaged items replaced. It was at this point that we received a bill for nearly $900!!! (For what turned out to be about half of a 1 bedroom apartment mind you). I contacted the office and spoke with the owner who told me send pictures of the damaged items he would have someone come out to assess the damage. I sent copies of pictures of the damaged items and a week later had still yet to hear back so I called the office. The receptionist insisted that the owner was out providing quotes and had no way of knowing when he would be back in the office. I called again the following day and was told the same thing. I called from another phone number the following day and was able to speak with the owner, finally! He again said that he would have someone come assess the damage. Then I received a reply to my email that contained the pictures that I had previously sent with the damaged items stating they did not feel responsible and basically "what do you expect me to do". Now at this point I had already paid nearly $900 for the move of half of my 1 bedroom apartment, was left with damaged items, and was basically told to "pound sand". Moral of the story if you want to be drastically overcharged, have your furniture damaged, have to play games to even speak with someone in charge, and then told they will not replace nor reimburse damaged items these are your guys. Very unprofessional and rip off!!!! read more
