It's a basic run of the mill storage facility, I do like the location it is conveniently located not too far from the house, right off of Main Road easy to get in and out of from the side street. Although I haven't had too many encounters with the customer service, the few times that I did interact with them, they did seem to be relatively friendly and accommodating . I was charged double one month. And was not told about it. When my Aunt was picking up something she needed from the unit, she was told that my items were on hold and my lock had been cut. After further questioning the woman I spoke too, I had not missed any of my payments, my items had simply been placed on hold and my lock had been cut by mistake. The lock had not been replaced and I was not notified. 2 days later, a representative called me as I needed a lock on my unit. I could not afford to replace the lock that had been cut and therefore it had been left unlocked. She was extremely rude the entire time. I asked to schedule a move out date as soon as possible when I was informed that I should wait until the end of July. That is completely understandable, but when I asked to schedule it for the end of the month, she said I sounded confused and told me to schedule it online because she wouldn't schedule it for me. She then proceeded to inform me, that because I could not afford to replace my lock that had been cut in error, Public storage would put one of their locks on it and charge me more fees the longer they had to keep it on. I do not have a car and have no way of getting to the unit right now. I asked for her name at the end and she told me it was Sonnet. I'm not sure if that's spelled right, but I would not return here. Worst storage place ever I moved my stuff out on the first went to cancel my agreement and office was closed went back every day for a week still closed finally called customer service they canceled my agreement but then told me I still had to pay the full amount and insurance on a empty storage unit I ask them if I can pay just the 9 days and not the full month but they said no that I was supposed to take my stuff out before the first so now I am confused cause I pay every month on the 1st so my payment should cover till next month till the first not the day before the first but anyways the lady told me that if I didn't pay it would go on my credit people do not go with public storage they don't do right read more

I've rented a5x5 going on 3 years now. I've seen a nominal increase each year. Each time there was no notice save the email just prior of billing. No explanation offered. This year, I've seen 2 increases; from $58 to$68 in July and again from $68 to $90 in November. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!? That's an increase of 55% this year alone. And like before, no notice besides the email just prior to billing. No explanation offered. This place will raise your rates on a whim. Don't bite on whatever promotion gets you moved in. They'll get their money , and in some, in the long run. read more

Showed up at Public Storage on Sunday after reserving a unit online. Staff was extremely courteous and helpful. Unit was clean and ready for us. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a safe secure place to store their things. read more

The absolute worst storage facility with whom to do business. In addition to the abysmal customer service, my monthly rent has increased 30.00 per month since Public Storage took over the property. If you need a cart, you have to go to the front office and turn over you drivers license in exchange for a cart. But beware, the office shuts down for 1.5-2 hours for lunch! Additionally, You are required to close and lock the door each time you bring a box in and walk out which means you are keying in your code every time you move a box. This pushes you to sign out a cart... but remember the comment above when planning the loading/unloading of your unit. You could find yourself sitting with the cart outside of the office waiting to turn in the cart and get your drivers license back while the 2 customer service reps are out to lunch together. I had hoped this was just a result of PS Bering new but every time I visit my storage unit there are more rules and it is more difficult to move anything in or out. Recommend you find a storage place more conducive to moving and storing your stuff. read more

Very disappointed in this storage facility! When I first got a unit a month ago I had to go home and get a wagon because they only had one cart to unload your belongings. Then today I went by to drop some items off and my unit was FLOODED!!!! They never even contacted me that the units in that section had flooded! I was given a new unit that I spent the next 5 hours moving into! No offer of help, no offer of any compensation of any kind! According to the staff they had an area repaved and the contractor they hired did an awful job. So that is my problem???? Take your money and your stuff somewhere else! read more

I do not recommend this Storage facility. Take the time to check into other Storage facilities. The people here are so RUDE! My first encounter was that the front counter person didnt want me to use a cart because I didn't hv my driver's license, when she clearly just saw me a couple of hours earlier...I literally left it in the car and didn't want to go back to the car after so much hauling. Secondly, in the day of my move out, because they were ready to go and it was a little after closing..on our last haul, they literally yanked the cart from under the heaviest piece of furniture we had...which was the last item ..a Dresser. I will call Corp as soon as I'm settled. I also agree with the other posts regarding fees, they were already charging me the increase before it actually went into effect. The young lady with the piercing claims to be the owner, and she's the worst. Will check into that with corporate. read more

Beware!!! After 4 months of renting a storage unit, the price went up by 15%. That's $28 more a month. I was not notified by mail or email. I noticed on my next bill due that it was $28 more than the previous months and thought it was an error with no explanation on the bill to an increase. I will not recommend or be using Public Storage Company again. Don't let them fool you with their online special's. There is nothing special!! I do need to add that Jess and Ash give great customer service and is doing a great job keeping up the place and know that it's not there fault of the increase in rent. It's corporate! read more
