I rented a small…read morestorage ( closet space) for my child's things for a 3 month period over the summer for all of my child's dorm items, clothes bedding etc. I spoke with a woman named Sandy to make these arrangements. I asked her about mold, she told me they had not had issues as long as the items were packed in plastic and damp rid was placed in the unit. We arrived at the storage unit yesterday 8/26/2017 to find a hole in the ceiling, insolation coming through the hole laying on the stored items and most of the items despite being covered in plastic space bags and garbage bags covered in black mold. We had 2 sets of plastic drawers that had 2 inches of water in the bottom of both. We also had several damp rids in the unit, one was completely dry the other over flowing with water. The floor towards the back of the unit was soaking wet. I went into the office to speak with Sandy and yes I was upset, I was not yelling but asking about insurance for the ruined items, she kept saying why didn't you come tell me about this. I told her I am telling her right now as we live in Miami, she had a small child there and she tried to shut me down telling me that the office was her home and that her grandson was present, I reminded her that this office was also a business and if she had an issue she should remove the child to the tv room behind us so we could talk business. It became obvious to me quickly that I was waisting my time. So I left put my child's things in the back of our Tahoe and drove 10 minutes to the college. And spent the next 6 hours YES 6 hours cleaning items we could save and laundering the things we could save. Despite the items only being in the truck 10 minutes it left a mold smell we couldn't remove. We have a 10 hour drive back to Miami, within the first 30 minutes my sinuses are burning and itchy, my nose is starting to run. BAD BAD BUSINESS DO NOT USE THIS STORAGE FACILITY. INCOMPETENT MANAGEMENT. UNCARING, UNPROFESSIONAL

AVOID. SCAMMERS. DAMAGED MY VEHICLE…read more Tech caused damage to my vehicle that forced me to sell it. Never had issues prior to having added work done at Carperter's Campers. Work was extremely overpriced and unprofessional with tape that was drooping on my heat shielding on my exhaust pipe at pick up and hanging wires I had to secure myself. Within a couple of days of picking it up, I had various electrical lights flashing I had never seen before. I called Carpenter's who offered to install MORE issues for more money. I brought it to the dealership who offered extremely pricey diagnostics and repairs worth more than what the vehicle was worth that would have just "undone Carpenter's damage". Contacted Carpenter's Campers management on this issue, they stone walled me and would not compromise for their damages without proof from dealership. All this with less than a week before my move across the country. I tried to contact a lawyer on short notice but ended up selling my previously perfectly drivable vehicle, with overpriced, DAMAGING work from Carpenter's Campers because I had to move, and I could not move this car safely cross country. Do not trust this dealership. They will damage your property with no shame.
