I've been to their other location on West McNab, found it rather good, but note that it has a higher Yelp rating than this location. I merely stopped by to get a bottle of Bombay Sapphire Gin along with some Fever-Tree Tonic, which I was hopeful they would have to take with me to a party. All of the sudden while looking to see if they had Fever-Tree Tonic a horrid loud argument broke out and with the threats made it had every indication that it was going to turn violent. So, before it did, or if it was ever going to actually happen, I wasn't going to stick around for it and left. I wouldn't about making a review with this content in it, but since it seems to have already happened to others, it's time for me to chime in on it. Also, for being within a seemingly decent area and an OK looking strip plaza, Tubby's liquor could really use some cleaning and sprucing up. And it is on that count I'm going to go a two star "I've seen better."

These mini bottles are perfect for long plane trips mixed with Coke. They usually charge $7.00 for a 50 ML bottle or you can buy it here for $1.69. Or buy a bunch of them to give out as party favors. This is my first time in this liquor store and I was impressed at how much liquor, wine and beer was compressed into such a small space, and was super easy to find what youre searching by the tag signs on the end of each aisle. I loved the sale pricing clearly marked too. My favorite liquor is the Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey for $42.99, which is popular these days at all fun gatherings.

It's also owned and operated by the same people who own and operate Le Boy. Though of little relevance, the Florida Fictitious Name filing of January 18, 2016 for Late Night Liquor, is a fictitious name for the principle, Idsd, LLC., which one can easily read through as being Le Boy. Late Night is just an over the counter sale, so you don't get to walk around amongst the bottles or have any opportunity to look things over. However, the staff is friendly and most helpful in guiding you in your purchases or assisting you in any manner. It has large and well varied stock of hard liquors, but for wines it's clearly on the very weak side. Though I would guess the primary purpose of it was for Le Boy to purchase liquors in larger volumes in order to reduce costs, Late Night is good as it remains open 6:00pm to 2:00am in the morning except on Mondays. One thing that makes shopping here during those late hours of the night or early hours of the morning is that right next to it sits a security guard, though primarily for Le Boy, serves for both. And I might add that he just isn't any bouncer type security guard, but one in full uniform, also impressively friendly and helpful to the patrons of both establishments. As for prices, unless it's on a special, I failed to see any deals at Late Night. So, I have to say that if you are a price conscious shopper, other places such as Total Wine & More has Late Night beat. But then, the real purpose of late night is convenience not price. Though Late Night doesn't amount to much and its prices seem a tad high, I'm going to go a Three Stars OK on it for what it is, what it's intended as, and for the security and safety it offers which many other such similar places don't.

Upon request, the sole employee, although friendly and quick to assist, could not locate the 750ml bottles of St Germain and Aperol Spritz. We found both on our own within a few minutes and then noticed the inflated prices. During a quick Google search, the two exact bottles were a savings of a whopping $16.00 at Total Wine & Spirits which I displayed to the clerk who understood as we said our goodbyes and left empty handed.
