This review is actually for Publix Subs fondly called by some as "Pub Subs". Some kind of sub is usually on sale - sometimes it's a sub using Boar's Head products or Publix lunchmeats. You can order either online and have your sandwich ready for you to pick up or you can go to their Deli and take a ticket for service. The Publix deli has a dedicated section just for sub making. You have a choice of bread - Italian Five Grain Roll, White, Whole Wheat, or a Soft White Roll are your choices or you can get your sandwich made into a Wrap with their Flat Bread. For those who are cutting out carbs Publix will make the sandwich into a salad for you. I enjoy all of their sandwiches but my two all time favorites are their Italian Sub and their Turkey Sub. Their Boar's Head Turkey Footlong Sub was on sale for $8.99. A very good deal in my opinion. I chose a White Roll smeared with a little mayonnaise then their Boar's Head Turkey and I chose Muenster Cheese this time. I kept it simple with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, Banana Peppers, Salt, Pepper and Oregano. I always order their Boar's Head Pickle Chips on the side as they can make the sandwich soggy. The sub is then cut in half and each half is individually wrapped. Publix offers a nice selection of cheeses you can choose from Provolone, White American, Jalapeno Pepper Jack, Swiss, Cheddar, Muenster, Yellow American and even a Chao Vegan Cheese. And numerous toppings besides the LTO normal choice of toppings. The sub is fresh and very tasty because you get to choose your favorite add ons - you can't ask for anything more in my opinion. It's a solid contender for the sandwich shops in my area. The service is fast, efficient and friendly. Publix makes it nice for when you don't have time to cook or just don't feel like it. Terrible attitude especially in the deli. They refuse to cut a piece off the end of the lunch meat roll and begin slicing on the end, which is typically inedible. When asked, they refuse. Used to be a great grocery store. No more. Will go somewhere else. read more

Everyone so pleasant and willing to help. I am disabled in that walking is difficult. The employees walk out with me so i ride the scooter and then they bring it back which is always helpful to the next patron that needs it. You guys are great! read more

A nice Publix. However we were rather shocked at the prices, they compared to Miami. Over priced, like everywhere now unfortunately.

We are unhappy with à purchase for my rescue dog. Publix Wavy Treats. We don't need a refund; we just won't purchase them again.

Clean, well lit, very nice staff. The butchers are always very helpful and ready to accommodate anyway they can. They never complain or make you feel like you're bothering them. I have to say the same about the bakery. All the employees at Publix are exceptional. Not sure how they can do it and other stores cannot. But I am grateful for it. Just wish the prices were more competitive. But still shop there in spite of that issue. read more

It's a very pleasant experience every time I go there. All the staff and managers and pharmacists are very pleasant and polite, it always cheers me up going to that store. The store itself is very clean, well organized shelves, rarely out of stock for things (not that the store can do much about that anyway given our logistical crisis), convenient location. read more

Remodel thank you Publix it was long over due. Now you just need to get a pharmacy. A+ customer service from the parking lot and through out the store been to many Publix store but this one is the best. Shelves stay well stocked, dont have to get rain checks. I see that Paula Deen uses alot of Publix brand products so you know there good quality! Deli chicken, subs, meats and cheeses are awesome. read more

An old, outdated Publix that lacks mant modern (HEALTHY) products found in other Publix. The "locals" working there are somewhat less than helpful in ordering items. Although I live 5 miles from this Publix I shop elsewhere- the Inverness or Spring Hill area Publix are worth the drive. read more

It's big, it's close, the people are very friendly and all of them will help you find whatever unusual thing you are looking for. Groceries, Beer, Wine and better White Corn than the produce stand down the street (not sure why). A lot to like here. read more

I have lived in Florida for about four months and I have been running about to various grocers to see what is available at what reasonable price. Publix prices are higher during the "snowbird" months and this includes most of the items. The best bargains are,during the spring and summer. The produce is quite good. If you buy peaches, you can count of them to stay good throughout the week if you are a once a week shopper as I am.I have been disappointed in the choices of other items. They don't have an extensive choice of ice cream novelites, so I am obliged to find those elsewhere. Other miscellaneous products that I have had a coupon for were also missing in action. When I have asked the cashiers why they don't stock those items, no one so far has had a definite answer, only sympathy. If you like just basic ice cream, basic spaghetti sauce, and other staples, you can usually find something you will like. They are friendly and will help you find what you need, but they are higher than I am comfortable paying now that prices are going up. It is October and the northerners are starting to return. You might want to shop around to find better prices at Winn Dixie, Walmart or Save-a lot. read more

Being disabled, I love to shop at Publix. They offer assistance in a manner that is very positive, and always greet you with a smile and friendly words. The deli goes out of their way to provide exactly what you want. No one has ever shown any annoyance in helping me in any way. Store brands are also of very high quality. Nice, clean store and friendly, helpful staff; but my complaint is they constantly drop products that I buy - such as Dreamfields elbow macaroni which is such a great product; especially for diabetics. Thank goodness I can get it by the case from Amazon.com. If Publix keeps dropping the products I like and buy frequently, I'll have to shop elsewhere and I'd rather not do that. read more
