He told me some well dressed white guy claimed that he was my husband and tried to get my grocery cart of unpaid groceries from the manager. My husband was not there. Weirdo. Scared the hell out of me. It was night time too. This time I went to Publix with my husband... He is real. He wanted to go to this Publix because it was near Firehouse Subs. :)

He had actually checked the cameras to make sure I lost something out of my pocket and that he was giving it to the right person. A very honest young manager named Mr. Brian. It's amazing: freshness, quality, and taste. We generally do about 2-3 big orders a month. Here's a general list: GRASS-FED BEEFS: -filet mignon -ribeye -sirloin -New York strip -tri-tip -beef rib slabs -ground beef All great!! Usually do about 4-6 of each, every time we order. GRAIN FED: -wagyu short ribs -wagyu tri tip Both very tasty! PORK: -3/4" pork chops in packs of two (we eat these once a week, so good!!) -2" pork chops on our hungrier days are great -spare ribs -baby back ribs We love and enjoy all their ribs. Seafood: -salmon (I wish they were a bit larger but it was good) -gulf shrimps (my fav from here, they're big and we usually grab about 3-4 bags each purchase) Last time we came the owner wasn't there but I believe his daughter and her bf were. I'm not sure if there's a difference but each filets I added on were different price and they charged me $17-$20 each one. I don't remember paying that much for them before but maybe it's something new. Besides that customer service is always great. Check it out! 1. You dont need a membership 2. Has good items for smaller families not just large 3. Good prices, sometimes on line coupons at GFS 4. Lots of cool food samples 5. Boost is a joke. Nothing is ever in stock, whether you have it or not. And they try to have very…read moresmall value 'valued customer' or 'instore coupons' to keep you from redeeming larger discounts. They do NOT deliver their food theirselves. Part of why I got boost was due to them advertising 'delivered in refrigerated trucks'. Well, that is a lie. That's only in certain markets. They have fully turned over delivery to 3rd party delivery services. Food arrives askew, in a hot, cheap car, but a frazzled youth or other person in far too much of a hurry to care about the quality of the items they pick for delivery. I have been told on the phone that I have the 'wrong kind of Boost membership' for certain bonuses. Meaning, the lower income version for half price (that they instituted to compete with Walmart) does 'not qualify' or 'is not the right kind of boost membership'. I've loved Kroger for years. And now, I really find they are cheap, disingenuous and often fully lying about benefits and even every day purchases.

I came away with a sriracha, sesame oil, a small jar of kimchi and since I was hungry got a tray of gimbap and a pomegranate flavored aloe juice for twenty bucks and some change, not a bad haul. I wandered around a little bit and on top of the food items there's also a section of mostly Korean flatware and even clothing. This will be where my Asian shopping needs will be met when I am in need.
