The atmosphere and interior is authentic and inviting. Start off with the fresh tortilla chips and salsa, delish then add their cheese sauce- wow!! It's delish! I'm generally not a nacho style eater, but the queso was devine! I had the steak tacos which were delish. My dinner companions had the chicken enchiladas and the cheesy chicken, they also said their meals were delicious. They have generous portions, so be prepared to have left overs especially after filling up on chips and salsa. Unless you have a bottomless pit of a tummy. : ~ ) Our server and the staff were friendly and attentive. The drinks come in GIGANTIC glasses! We have stopped here to eat while traveling through for several years. Food and service always outstanding. Not so on this stop though, Saturday around 4:00 pm. Not too crowded and wanted to sit at the bar. We were first in among about three other tables. Not sure who our waiter was because all of the parties who came in after us were served and food delivered before us. We finally got served but had to flag down other servers for check as we had been abandoned. Sad to say we will not be stopping in the future. read more

Went here last night and I can't recommend it. The free salsa was poorly made. My chimichanga was covered in bad queso that tasted too sweet and the chicken inside was dry. The worst pet of my meal was when I ordered a crown and coke. I told the server I just wanted a single shot in a short glass. I was brought a tall and what tasted like 3 shots. When the waiter brought the check, my drink cost $16! I asked him why and he just said because it was an "open bar" drink. After I said something to him, he brought it down to $12, but that's still ridiculous for the single shot of crown I ordered. I wish I could get my money back. read more

This was the nastiest place I've ever been to in my 59 years. The place is literally falling apart inside. We took a chance because we had been driving 11 hours and it was getting late. My seafood platter in nasty cheese was awful my husbands seafood fajitas tasted terrible and he said the shrimp had an off taste. We got back to the hotel and prayed we wouldn't get sick. Stopped here while staying at a nearby hotel. I ordered the shrimp a la Diablo. It was amazing...a plateful of perfectly grilled shrimp, onions and the red sauce, spicy, full flavored, but not too hot. First time there. Ordered to go while on a road trip. They were busy but got our order together in less than 15 mins. So worth it. We ordered street tacos for 4. All 3 flavors were delicious and we are street tacos snobs. Steak, shrimp and pork. Chips and salsa were provided too. Great price and so good! Highly recommend. read more

First time here and was pleasantly surprised. Staff friendly, brought out a big bowl of chips and a decanter of salsa. Ordered Steak Rancheros with red sauce. Steak came as ordered MED. red sauce was fantastic. Had a nice kick to it but not over bearing. Rice and beans. Negative was tortillas were separate. Had what they called Fried Ice Cream, that was no good. They put ice cream in a tortilla shell with chocolate sauce. Other than that it was good. You would think at the loss of business during a Pandemic, restaurants who were fortunate to remain open would have a more welcoming energy. This was not the case here. Their customer service is unsatisfactory and the manager Martin ( if thats even his name ) was more interested in arguing than correcting an $8 order. I placed an order for CHEESE enchiladas. Order came and it was a CHEESE quesadilla . The young lady at the front desk is just as useless. When mention the order was incorrect she handed me back $10 while also insuring I would have my order corrected. I respectfully handed her back the cash as to say this doesn't belong to me, if you're remaking the order ( not to mention it was only $8). It was all confusing. They bring back the order I leave and I get home and I see that instead of CHEESE its CHICKEN. I call the store and make my complaint, I say I do not want another remake I will return tomorrow for my refund. The front desk lady apologized again and said okay. Tomorrow comes and after 10 min on hold, she returns and say we need the food back! SMH! Let's just say to say I never got the correct order or a refund. Hope that $8 was worth this review. PLEASE WORK ON YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS, it can ruin a business. read more
