Here, it is about money and money only, you will be waiting long time to be seen for few mins, A week away from having my second appointments, A Nicole called me in a very threatening, manners that i have a balance of $ 200 past due, that i need to pay, or start making payments, or she will cancel the upcoming appointments , the tone ,the threats felt like an Elite mater talking to a subject , and was reminded in also a threatening manner , that all calls are recorded , A great way to resolve issues with a Berber man , so the story started almost 2 years ago, when one of the associates of this business establishments came to see when i was at a hospital, i was seen for less than 5 mins and got invited to his Office to fellow our once out of the Hospital, Dr Brian told me he would like to see me within 2 weeks, i was happy. only to find out after i got discharged, and called his business office called clinic on 25 ave and Union Hills, that would not be able to see me for 4 Months, in the first place , i didnt not know there is a charge for his 5 Mins or less visit , i find out via a collection company, when i called his office , they told me the charges are valid , and that he spend an hour with me . i asked for that in writing, and am still waiting after 2 years, nothing came in yet , asking for clarifications , was a dispute per my understanding , and still is , but the Nicole said it was not , and she said , the only option i have is pay , or start making payments , or she will cancel my upcoming appointments , and she did ,with less than a week to go. Then it this , if Dr Brian , who's office is on Union Hills and I 17 , is so busy and booked for 4 Months , what was he doing recruiting every sick person on that Hospital Floor on a Saturday evening ? no other doctor just him , why other doctor don't have access?? why take more than you can handle , ? Here, and the same office on Union Hills, your health probably might not matter as much as your Payments, it feels like it is all about money and nothing else . You are highly encouraged to do your homework , but when you re in Hospital bed , you dont have much choices , but if ypu have a choice , stay away , very far away from this . To The Nicole , i am happy to pay , sent me in writing that Dr Brian spend an Hour with me like his office manage claimed, its very concerning when Noble profession or so called act like Nicole and these who let her. read more

I was referred by my primary care for a new problem. The pulmonologist my primary recommended was scheduled out for several months. I scheduled with PA Conger to get in as soon as able. My referring PCP office sent their records over for coordination of care ahead of my appointment. The appointment started 40 minutes late. PA Conger walked in through the door and asked "what am I seeing you for today?" I had all of my records sent over ahead of the appointment and had filled out new patient paperwork with all of this info. She then opened my chart and said, "there are hundreds of pages of records here about all kinds of things, I don't have time to read this". We spoke about why I was there. She told me she did not think I had cancer, ordered tests and labs, and I was out of there. I don't think the clinical outcome would be different whether I saw the pulmonologist or her. On a very anxious day, I waited for someone who was late, unprepared, and made unprofessional remarks about not having time to read my records. Its one thing if bedside is poor, but the lack of preparation and unwillingness to review relevant medical records did not leave me feeling confident. I am choosing to wait several months for follow-up with the pulmonologist, and complete these tests in the meantime. read more

Had an appointment scheduled here that had to be scheduled over a month out. One business day beforehand, they cancelled it on me (for a stunningly ignorant reason) and couldn't reschedule me any sooner than another month out. I have only had 2 appointments so far but truly have had an incredible experience. Immediately after Camille found out I've had pneumonia twice and Covid 5 times, she ordered multiple tests and took matters seriously. Today, I went to get my PFT done and I'm not going to lie I was so so nervous. Eddy, the technician who helped me with me PFT was incredibly patient, kind and understanding of my nerves going into the test. He did every step with me and made sure I didn't feel alone, he went at my pace and even made some of the exercises into a fun "game". Eddy, you deserve awards on awards. Thank you for your kind words and your care. Today he told me I'm stronger than I think I am, which are words that will always stick with me! I highly recommend this practice. read more

I have to give 5 starts because Dr. Bichler literally saved my life after I dealt with a condition for over 10 years, in 2 states and with at least 6 different pulmonologists. Sadly for me, Dr. Bichler recently retired and I have been assigned to Dr. Baratz but have not yet seen him. The office staff is always very nice, but trying to call the office for any reason is a nightmare. read more

I accompanied my severely ill brother to his appointment. The MA that 1st took us back was very patient and kind. We got told that Camille the PA would be in shortly. She came in stated her name and asked what brought us in. We gave answers to many questions to the MA prior to her coming in. My brother can barely speak because of his breathing. I introduced myself to Camille, explained that I wanted clarity on his diagnosis. Not what he was telling me. She said he had COPD. I said ok, can you tell the stage he is at? She scoffed at me and proceeded to admonish me about reading stuff on the internet. There are no stages of COPD. I said oh, ok. I then said that he had told me he was at end stage COPD, again very condescending telling there is no end stage , he has severe COPD. I then asked if she could give a referral for palliative care, she then proceed to raise her voice and tell me that he is not ready for hospice. Thus whole time, his "exam" had consisted of his weight and temperature fans an Oxi meter reading from the MA. Camille then asked if I had any other questions. I asked if she was going to do an exam on him. She laughed and said what kind of exam? I proceeded then to ask if she was even going to listen to his lungs. She said, I guess I could if want me too! I had enough at that point. I told her that she was the Dr and she was rude. She laughed and said oh, ok, how so? I said you are very flippant. She then asked me to explain the her what that meant. I told she had been very condescending and that she was the Dr! She walked around to my brothers back, placed the stethoscope on his back, said take a deep breath and then said you are very tight. That was it, that was the exam! She proceeded to ask about prescribed inhalers and oxygen . He told her that the insurance had denied one of the inhalers. She then asked where his oxygen was. He said he can't carry the bottle. She then proceeded to bash his insurance ( Medicaid) told him he could get a portable unit, but his insurance would not cover it. Then said out of pocket would be about $4500, and then chuckled and said that's probably not an option for you. I then again told her she was rude, she said you are rude back to me. I said ok, so I am rude because I told you you were rude. I stood up told her I was leaving and that she needed to talk to her patient, you are a Dr and you are not acting like one. I said you were not even going to listen to his lungs until I asked, and then said if you want me too?!?! What is happening! I thought I was on an episode of punk's. She then proceeded to tell me that's not what she said, it was.She was so incredibly rude because my brother is indigent. I told her she was a rude bitch and slammed the door and walked out. YES, I was out of line, but I had enough of her attitude and rudeness. You can look at him and tell genus in distress, he weighs 113 pounds and is 6 ft tall. He can barely breathe and function alone. What a complete awful experience. After I walked out crying, my brother came out about 15 minutes later. Maybe I shook her a bit, but she ordered a CT scan. My brother said he told her that she did say, she would listen if I wanted her too, she ten apologized. Damage is done already! Unbelievable treatment by a PA!! Horrible bedside manner. My apologies for calling you a bitch, but not sorry for telling you that you were rude, flippant and condescending. If you don't like what you do, cannot honor the oath you took, it's time to reevaluate. read more

Ghetto receptionists that can't do their simple job of scheduling people correctly, I called in morning of to verify my appointment location and time. The receptionist gave me the correct time and location but completely incorrect date. I received a text verification as well and once I came in on the date I was scheduled they told me I had nothing scheduled that day. Avoid at all costs this place is a shthole!!! I was referred to Pulmonary Associates by my General Practitioner and I wish they hadn't. If you do go there expect long delays in getting test results. It took almost three weeks to get the results of my sleep study, which was a problem because I want any treatment to be done before the end of the year, since my deductible had been met for the year. They are short handed and have no sense of urgency on anything. I have been bounced around between insurance, Valley Sleep Center and Pulmonary Associates, so many times, I finally asked my doctor for a different referral. Super frustrating. I strongly do not recommend this doctor's office. read more

My review on 8/7/24 should have been 5 stars, Dr. Lian, M.D. really an excellent Physician and help me with my breathing problems. The service is like family, ever one is so helpful and kind. Quality was out of this world and the people are very experience. I hope this review we make up for my mistake with the x-ray place I was sent. I wish I could give 10 stars but as you know 5 in highest I can go. I just found out or a least I wasn't able to edit my previous review or I sure don't know how to do it. It seems hard to find a doctors office that actually answers the phones these days but my call was answered every time here. I needed a confirmation faxed over to me and i had it the next day even though Trisha wasn't in office the prior day. Top notch on follow through and timeliness! read more

I saw Dr Liao here and can't begin to describe my satisfaction with this clinic. They sit and listen to you like practitioners used to. I have had the best results for my sudden problem and feel like I am finally getting somewhere. Dr Liao is highly qualified. The medicine he prescribed worked right away. The front office and back office assistants, the nurses and technicians are 100% professional. The tests were performed flawlessly and the technician explained everything along the way. Don't even bother with this practice. They don't answer the phone, the doctor I saw, David Baratz, took two weeks to answer my email in their online app, is unprofessional and annoying. He walked in with his pants falling down and a t-shirt. He got impatient with me when a couple of the inhalers he prescribed didn't work and asked me what I wanted to take. He's the doctor -- how would I know that? My asthma had worsened yet he didn't order any pulmonary function tests. They also cancelled my appointment twice. Dr. Baratz and his assistant are both amazing. When you are facing a condition that changes your life completely you want someone who really cares about their patients. You will find that here. They listen , really listen to you. The office staff is kind and makes you feel welcome. That's important too, whether you are in the office or on the phone with questions. The staff at Pulmonary Associates is very nice. I have had positive interactions with staff members. I do not like their phone tree. It's very unhelpful and will stick you in a frustrating loop with no alternative. The patient portal likewise wouldn't let me access even though I was an established patient. Automated issues left me totally cold and frustrated but the staff is very warm and kind. read more

This place is the hardest place to get a live person on the phone to ask for help. I've never had a company that has a phone tree with so many steps just to leave a message. You can't get help here. The providers are great but the office and support side is lacking. If anyone from this company wants to contact me and actually help me please message me. I saw Dr David Baratz. I don't know if he's good or not but Pulmonary Associates is the worst group I've ever been to. 1-he wrote a prescription for Spuriva but the old grind up yourself delivery mechanism rather than the new inhaler mechanism 2-he told me he wanted a follow up x-ray of the spots on my lungs to monitor them and make sure they aren't growing. Unfortunately either he didn't put in the order or his back office didn't. 3-I was supposed to have a tele-med appointment with him. I called about the x-ray referral. I put on hold for over 10 minutes and the phone system then hung up on me. After another 15 minutes on hold, I talked to someone who had to find out about the x-ray order, get it into processing (which can take 48 hours) and reschedule my appointment. 4-My tele-med appointment was supposed to be today at 245. It is now 425. I have not heard from the office except a text this morning to remind me of the appointment. In the meantime - a. I called this morning to get the link. 17 minutes on hold and then the phone system hung up on me. Called again and 12 minutes on hold before talked to someone who said they'd email a link when the doctor was free. b. At 315 I'd not heard so tried calling them. Was again put on hold for over 10+ minutes 3 times, hung up on twice, when I finally got to talk to someone they said the doctor must be busy. She didn't ask even who I was. Then she hung up on me. Pulmonary Associates doesn't even deserve the minimum 1 star. read more

I love Dr. Bichler which is why I continue to go to this office. However, now they have decided you can't see the doctor after your pulmonary function tests, you have to make another appointment. So now I have to take more time off of work on a different day. I live in Mesa so the drive is long and extra gas money. This is definitely not a satisfier and if it wasn't for Dr. Bichler I would go somewhere else. I would imagine this would be difficult for people who rely on transportation to bring them to doctor appointments and have mobility issues. Very dissatisfied with this decision. Not to mention it is almost impossible to get anyone on the phone these days. You have to leave a message and get a call back 24-36 hours later. I have received two different messages telling me my appointments have been cancelled. The office staff has always been very pleasant and helpful when there. As of now, I have been on hold for 30 minutes waiting to talk to someone regarding my appointment! Things need to change. read more
