Back over 15 years ago, I started Jillian Michaels' videos and I've been pretty fanatical about her style/method throughout the years. Less than a year ago, we relocated to the Bryant area and I had heard about this gym from some coworkers. This past April I decided to give it a try, and what a GREAT decision that turned out to be!! Although, I had worked out consistently for 5-6 days/week over the years, most of my workouts were the Jillian or Autumn Calabrese Beachbody videos. Most of these workouts were only 30 minute long videos (a few were an hour), and turns out that I just THOUGHT I had been working out. McClure has taken my fitness journey to a whole other level!! The first few months kicked my butt, but in the best way possible!! I got so much stronger than I ever even thought possible and am now in the best shape that I've EVER been in before at 35 years old. The atmosphere is relaxed, yet challenging--and it's a total "no excuses" vibe which I love!! Need modifications? The instructors would be more than happy to provide them. Since I always did the workout videos in my living room, I considered myself a lone wolf exerciser and wasn't sure how I'd like the group environment. It's awesome!! There's a total supportive atmosphere to so many people giving it their all on the gym floor together. Definitely strength in numbers & an accountability factor. Sometimes, I try to feed off of competitiveness, as well, like trying to be as fast as this person or that. It really pushes me compared to my old school living room workout videos. My advice to anyone seeking a place to workout is to give it a try. I suggest trying more than one class because the classes that are offered are so diverse and versatile. Don't make your judgment on one visit. When I started, I got a punch card for 10 classes and tried numerous classes to hit on instructors who matched the style/intensity that I was looking for. I feel like that's a good route to go because they all have different things to offer. Also, the owner of the gym definitely "practices what she preaches" and for me that is so important. She's always been welcoming and happy to help with any question I've had during this process. For once in my life, I actually LOOK like someone who works out 5-6 days/week and, no doubt, that is 100% due to McClure!!

The standout here is definitely the slide and vortex. The slide is fast and a big hit with the kids and honestly adults too. The vortex is one of the coolest features. It creates a circular current that pulls you around the pool. It is surprisingly strong and makes it feel like a lazy river with a twist. Kids were laughing nonstop trying to walk against it or just letting it carry them around. The kids' area is also great with zero entry access, making it easy for younger ones to play safely. For Saline County residents, it is only $5 for a day pass, which makes this a really affordable outing for families. Staff was friendly and everything ran smoothly. It can get a little crowded at peak times, but overall it is a fun and easy place to cool off and let the kids burn some energy.

The manager is extremely negative, the equipment is not good, the music they play is terrible, and it is so cold it is nearly impossible to sweat unless you have two or more layers on. For example, I travel the nation that is why I use anytime and I do not bring my key fob since I use rental cars. Every club in the nation checks me in without a fob during staffed hours. Make sure you don't forget your fob here. Even if the manager knows you by name she will make it a point to confront you in a very demeaning unprofessional way instead of simply checking you in for your workout like every other club in the country.

I assured her I had it taken care of. She spoke with such a "good riddance" tone as if I had personally offended her. I had my membership less than two weeks I really don't see what her problem was.

Horrible experience with management upon inquiring about surprise charges after I stopped paying…read morefor the membership. I was a member for OVER a year and RARELY used the facility. They do not care about loyalty or their customers! I did not know what I was in a contract with them and after I had stopped paying for their services they took a lump sum payment of $172 out of my account! I asked her to explain and she didn't feel that she's had to because she claimed "it's not her problem that I didn't pay my bills" and offered to only refund 1 month of the services and then took back the offer because she stated that I had an "attitude" and hung up the phone in my face. I then went up to the facility and demanded a refund to which she replied they she would not and cancelled my membership on the spot AFTER collecting a FULL payment for the month of January! She then proceeded to call the police on me. The owner was in the facility and offered to refund January ONLY and then asked me to leave. The police called and told me that I was banned from their Benton and Little Rock locations permanently! They are ALL awful!!! Absolutely awful!
