Her body and brain have been so beaten up & she's so frail that I really felt like I was completely out of options.... (And I do deep research into things...) I won't even list all the things that we tried, because it wouldn't be fair to some of these other holistic health options... She's just so frail that seemingly nothing could work for her. Pretty much at the end of my rope (and feeling like a complete moron for not really looking into it earlier...) I remembered Hyperbaric therapy, but didn't know that much about it. So I got online and started calling places to look into renting one. I was finding chambers that I could rent for 5-800 for the month... and then when I came across Hyperbaric PHP, the prices were a lot higher. So I called. I wanted to know WHY the prices were so much higher... And the answer is obvious. Quality. And these machines are no joke... you don't want to get one that could potentially be faulty. Ray, the first guy I talked to on the phone, told me as much info as he possibly could, but told me "You really need to come in and speak to Bill" (he didn't realize we lived 7 hours away)... and he told me that our first treatment is free, and that Bill is one of the kindest people on the planet, and that we should just come in and hear what he has to say..... I'm literally crying as I write this out..... I gave us a 3 hour buffer to get there (because trips with mom are very unpredictable).... And we made it JUST on time. We sat down with Bill and his presentation blew me away........ Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy is a gift from God.... And Bill. After talking with us for about 30 minutes.... And he told us when we first came in he had no idea we were coming from so far, otherwise he would have cleared his schedule... but that he didn't know and he had something very important (it sounded really serious) to go to... and he called and canceled while we were in there so he could talk to us longer.......... The chambers aren't cheap to buy, 20k+, and that drive down with my mom was so hard, that I knew coming there every once in a while to treat her would probably be counterproductive.... I'm not sure if I should say this or not... but when Bill found out about our situation, he offered to treat my mom for free anytime I could bring her down.... This last week I booked a week of therapy for her, and on our first day coming in, Bill was there. He asked how many times we were on the schedule... and when I told him every day that they were open.... He asked me "Only once?"... Not only did he get us added to the schedule for multiple times in a day every day they were open.... But he also asked someone to open on Friday just for me and mom.... No one could ever understand my gratitude for him..... He's an angel, disguised as a big cuddly looking bear lol We just finished a whole week of daily treatments down there, and I'm getting my schedule in order to take mom back down as soon as I can. We noticed a huge difference in her skin color, eye contact, alertness, her choice of words was more coherent, and it got easier and faster for her to get in and out of the chamber day by day. If you have Lyme's Disease, Brain Trauma, inflammation.... Honestly if you have ANYTHING... and even if you DON'T have anything....... Do yourself a favor and go see Bill! His presentation is phenomenal, and I'm SURE if you don't need this therapy, you know or will know someone that does... And don't let the prices scare you. Just go see him! I'm beyond words at how thankful I am for him... trust me... this is someone you will feel blessed to get to know. When I brought this to their attention, the center was not helpful and offered no viable solutions or adjustments. The instructors are knowledgeable and teach at other studios in Atlanta. I can tell they have had extensive training and I get a lot from each class. My friends and I did one of their happy hour sessions as well and had a ton of fun. We all practice yoga and go to barre classes regularly, and we all enjoyed it. You take two of their fitness classes and then go down the street for cocktails / dinner. It's a great way to connect! I believe they have it on the calendar on their website. As for general wellness, I recently got a massage with their incredible massage therapist, Diana Coker. One session with her and I am a client for life. I have been recommending her to everyone I know because I feel like in a single session I got more from a massage with her than any of the massages I have had at Exhale, etc, where I paid much, much, much more. She has a brilliant understanding of anatomy, and she truly tailors your massage to what you / your muscles need. I told her about my sinus issues, and after she worked on my face I felt better than I have in a long, long time. The pressure was gone - and I could sigh with relief.
