My insurer had a bid from NEIM and would send someone out within 25 to 55 minutes. I scoffed. Sure enough. Motley called to confirm what services I needed? A jump and an unlock. Shortly after Colby rang my doorbell @ 1:32!! I excitedly greeted him! When I handed him the key fob he said "oh you have the key." I replied, no that's a jeep fob it's a dodge, that key doesn't work. I wasn't concerned when I bought the truck this summer because I've never needed the key. Now? I do and I don't have one. I stood nearby until I got too cold and went inside. When I came back outside shortly later.....Colby had my truck unlocked and running!!! I didn't have faith he would be able to help me. That is like a good used car! On top of that they we're inspecting other parts of the car that was not necessary! Unfortunately, I had to pay $122 for the diagnostic but I by change had contacted on Craig's List another Mechanic who referred me to Erik. I had told Erick and he himself was shocked at my story! He new Midas was BS-ing and I went to him. My engine was still fine! I just needed new spark plugs which he believed Midas technicians damage by pulling it out the improper way and new great quality coils which I should have don vs buying from Ebay.
