After reviewing my phone calls with the MetLife Customer Service Reps regarding the policy cancellation issue (see previous review), MetLife decided they were going to give me a refund even though I didn't want one. What I really wanted is for MetLife to make this form clearer. I was told by Angela, in Customer Service, that a change to the form is in the works AND they are processing a refund. This has been unbelievably unfair and I have had to make due with what I have to pay bills in protection of my sisters in there home as well as mine. They are both minors and cannot fend for themselves. My mom passed in June this year unexpectedly with a cancer diagnosis and this whole medical examiner crap is taking way too long. My mom had a full medical screening to obtain this darn policy to have as a backup and sadly now it had to be used. I have been under so much stress trying to get this all resolved. I have had to go to court to get guardianship of my sisters and continue the gift of divorce with my father to protect my sisters. So yes court fees have been apart of my life as well. I will never refer your company as a life insurance company to anyone ever going forward. I'm ashamed that this massive company has put me through so much grief and stress during this time and still had no resolution and when it will all end. All you keep doing is asking for a copy of her death certificate that I have sent multiple times since June 2016.
