This would surely cheer up my little one as we are on food stamps and don't get to get gas station Pizza so this was a rare treat. It was a different story when I arrived at the cash register the cashier wanted to charge me for it, I explained the conversation I just had with another employee and she said that even they have to pay for it when they're getting ready to throw it out. Now I had to explain to my three-year-old of course he didn't understand that we weren't going to get any pizza so once I got out to the car I realize that I had five bucks in my pocket that my mother had given to me to come and see her the following day so I went back and I got the pizza I'm now sitting in my car and watching the employees laugh about our encounter while writing this review.

DAMAGE TO OUR VEHICLE !! Do not trust Tommys Express Carwash in Fremont Nebraska. My wife bought me…read morea membership for my birthday and decided to wash our suburban while she was there. Later that week she gave me my bday present and I loved and always wanted one. Two weeks after the wash to our suburban I noticed that part of the hood and the whole top was scratched and looked like most of the paint was super dull looking. I called and asked for manager and left a message on Saturday for him to call me. Nothing. A week later I called again and left another message for him to call. Still nothing. So I called again 2 or 3 days later and got him on the phone. He said for me to come in and file a claim at the store. I did that and waited for a call back. Didn't get one again so I called back and he said the pictures weren't good when I filed the claim. SMH. So I took the suburban in again for him to look at it. Now he tells me I only keep video footage for 30 days which how convenient FOR HIM it has just past the 30 day mark. If that's even true!! All he really did was try to talk his way out of the damage. Like there is no way my Carwash could have done this. I haven't had any damage to vehicles before. Then I said well if you would have gotten back to me when I called we could have just watched the video. Then he said for me to get an estimate which I did and sent it over to him. it took another week for a response again. Now he finally got back to me and is basically refusing to do anything for the damage to my wife's vehicle. This took almost 2 months & now I have a damaged suburban and a membership to this Carwash that I don't even want to activate now!! I just can't believe how untrustworthy some people/businesses can be. It's really sad!! i want a refund and for them to take responsibility for what happened.

Let me highlight a few things. Mechanics/specialists are generally very friendly and polite. Really haven't had any issue whatsoever. Their service is fast and it seems to be pretty thorough with fluid top ups, tire pressure, light checks, in addition to the oil change. I get the synthetic brand which tends to be a bit more expensive but I think is better for my older vehicle. This place gives you a FREE car wash to the Cornhusker Auto Wash which is about two blocks south of the location and provides an excellent wash!! Like most oil change places, they always pull the cabin and air filter to show you how 'dirty' it is and encourage replacement. I order my filters off Amazon and change them myself. Normally, I let them know when I pull in not to bother checking both and they don't argue or try to convince me otherwise. I like that. Here's the one thing that they have now done the last 3 times in that I do NOT like and cost them .5 star. While I am waiting, an attendant will bring my oil cap in to show me (dirt/debris/sludge) etc. etc. on the inside of the cap and encourage me to purchase a 'detergent cleanse' for the engine. DO NOT DO THIS. The 'gunk' you sometimes see in the cap is normal. If it's black sludge, then you might have an issue. Also, nearly ALL synthetic oils already have a detergent added in. One other thing, on engines with high mileage, cleaning the deposits off the engine can lead to problems from the loosened parts clogging oil passages. It's a money grab. Don't do it. I really wish they would stop this upsell as it makes me trust them less.
