We had the best time at this pumpkin patch! No entry fee, just tickets available for purchase and packages are available!! Rides are age appropriate for our 3-5 yro. They also have a variety of slides. One thing I think stood out to me was the employees and staff. I had a pleasant experience with each ride operator! They were so kind and friendly. They were very helpful and attentive to our kids. It seemed there was no time-limit because our kiddos kept going over and over again down the slides and into the jumpy houses, the attendants interacted with them as well. Employees made it so worth the experience overall and well worth the prices. My favorite area was the petting zoo. All the goats were so beautiful and kid-friendly!! The attendant there was also very engaged and just all around lovely. I also love their array of pumpkins and mini, family-friendly photo ops. One I tried to take a cute picture and I got scolded for trying to use a wheelbarrow because I "did not purchase a pumpkin" which I had just gotten there and wanted to take a picture that's all.and if your Parent, to older children, I would not recommend this place because all of their activities were from children six-year-old and under there were only two slides that my 12-year-old daughters can go on and they did not enjoy it. Horrible experience! In 45 minutes, one of my sons was able to go on ONE slide and my other went on a train ride and one slide. We were in line at 8:50pm and the person said they were done for the night, so no more kids were going to be able to go on the bounce house jumpy. They were closing (at 9pm). Kids were so bummed. This is the first pumpkin patch I've ever been to. Took my son here and we both enjoyed it very much. Even though there wasn't much variety of things to do it was still a fun experience for the both of us. The employees here are very nice. One of the older gentleman that has been working at the pumpkin station for many years told me that there usually is more stuff set up but due to COVID they weren't able to have them on display this year. The great thing about the tickets is if you don't use them all they never expire so definitely holding onto the leftover tickets for next year! Well first I was looking for a pumpkin patch that is not to far from where I live . So of course I search yelp and google pumpkin patches in San Diego !! So this pumpkin patch is right in the middle and is located in the Mission Valley shopping center Westfield Shopping Town !! It is an good pumpkin patch with plenty of things for your kids to do !! There is an petting area for your kids also there were a couple of rides here also !! But it costs 4..00 for one ticket and the only ride you could go on with your kids is the train ride the others the kids are only allowed to ride by them selves !! As for the selection of Pumpkins it does have all sorts of pumpkins here !! The workers here were ok but some did not know much. !! Pumpkin station is a great place to take your family and kids to. Not so much a adult entertainment place but more so for the kids. The kids loved the rides that are there; where as to adults are not allowed on any rides. They have a game arcade which my girls loved. At $2 to play each game you are guaranteed to win a plastic blow up toy. A sense on accomplishment in their eyes when they win is indescribable. The workers there are very friendly and nice. This location is best for very small kids in order to participate in most rides. Probably 4 and under unless you have a petite short child. Not that much ride or activity for 6yrs old or older. There should be advisory to inform the community or public of height limitations for most rides. Entrance is free but a ticket per ride or jumpers is $5 and has a short time limitation. Love taking our grandkids each year BUT the safety features are questionable! The flimsy safety straps are faulty, many don't tighten enough to hold the kids in! The train doesn't even have a bell for the kids to ring now! The personnel are lazy and inattentive. They have limited people to oversee the rides so they rotate from ride to ride- so all the rides don't run at the same time- when you ask about a ride they make an excuse, "It's broken..." Then another attendant will come over and start up the ride (because they're not lazy). So sad for the children and families who enjoy the annual Pumpkin Station. read more

I have a confession.....this year was my first time EVER visiting a pumpkin patch and it was so much fun that I've already been there three times in a week. The reason I haven't been in the past is because unless you are going with children, it's not really a place for adults or older children/teenagers to hang out. Now that I'm a new mommy, I love this place mostly because my toddler loves it! It's located conveniently off the 8 freeway (in the Macy's/Bed Bath and Beyond parking lot) in Mission Valley. The admission is free, but you have to pay for the rides, $3.50 each=1 ticket (they offer discounts off the tickets online). There is NO CHARGE for an adult accompanying a child on the El Paso Train Ride, Carousel, or in the Petting Zoo. Hands down, my favorite station is the petting zoo. They currently two adorable baby goats. They also have rabbits and two chickens. The goats are all female and non-agressive. You can also feed them alfalfa for an additional $1. first time visiting a san diego pumpkin patch and it was quite fun. i like that the pumpking patch area is tented -- plenty of pumpkins for you to choose from and it seem to be decently priced. Those baby pumpkins are $1 only. and the colored pumpkins and squashes are $2-3 there are rides for little kids and a petting zoo. They also have food and drinks. I noticed that there are two empty tents for people to rent out to have parties at which i thought that was neat. I don't think i've seen a pumpkin patch where people can have parties. Good for little kids because little kids can go on rides and play some carnival games. Not sure how much those tents costs to rent out. It's free to walk into the petting zoo, there were goats and bunnies they were all under a tent. I think it's $1 to get some grass to feed the animals. read more

Well it's alright when you don't have enough time to head out to Bates Nut Farm. The staff have poor attitudes and are bordering on rude, but as long as the kids have fun, who am I to complain? At least they allowed unlimited time on a slide for one ticket. This time around, the petting zoo was quite clean, but unfortunately, my 6 y.o was no longer interested in "wasting" a ticket on this. He was all about the giant slides. I think he must've slid down each one at least 20 times, then went back around again for more. He was too tall for the mini-ferris wheel, and un-interested in the trains or the spin-boat ride. I wasn't about to pay extra for the ball-toss games. At $30 for 12 tickets, that's enough! Apparently there was a Groupon to get the tickets for only $15. There was a nice selection of pumpkins in the patch, but quite expensive! The Vons near our house has much better prices for similar sized pumpkins. Plenty of parking, but, no food? well at least the Mission Valley food court, In and Out and Taco Bell are just a short walk away. Overall a good way to spend a couple hours on a weekday afternoon but not worth waiting in lines for. read more

They have a fun game zone and for some games, you get a prize every time for $1-2 which is not bad at all. The rides, slides, and petting zoo are just one ticket. Tickets are $3.50 each, but there are package deals for the tickets which lasts you the whole month. The pumpkins are in good shape and have decent prices. Here, you'll find the perfect one to bring home and carve! Overall, the experience that I had was unbelievable. Took my 7 yr old non verbal (very autistic) son there Saturday night. It was packed. THANKS to the incredibly kind man who was working the bounce house my son finally got the courage to get in. This man was so patient and helpful my bear felt safe. And welcome..... he said my son deserved to have as much fun as all the kids and he did.... I had tears of joy cause not all people are as understanding as he was given the chaos of a kid filled area..... The fellas at the huge slide were also very patient and sweet.... We have visited the Mission Valley Pumpkin Station for years and this year was no exception to the fun my kids had! The staff were extremely friendly and let the kids ride super long. The pumpkins were great quality and there was plenty to do. I like that if you purchase tickets, they are good even the next year. My only complaint is the little carnival games... we won a medium prize and two small prizes and they wouldn't let me trade in the two smalls for a medium. Some flexibility would be nice. Brought our Special Needs Clients out to the Pumpkin Patch for the start of Fall Season. Received such a great experience with welcoming staff (Manager Kim and Modena). Flat grounds were perfect for our clients in wheelchairs. They had pumpkins of all sizes. Amazingly HUGE ones too! There was a petting zoo, mini carnival rides for small children and a few inflatable slides. They even had an area of fair games to play. Kim and Modena expressed how wonderful they think it is when they see the Special Needs community out and about experiencing "normal" things. Manager Kim was even kind enough to give each of our clients a mini pumpkin! We will definitely be back this season with our own families to enjoy this patch! read more

What can you say, it is in Mission Valley mall. It is in the parking lot and they put hay on the asphalt. Pumpkins are overpriced, a complete ripoff $15 for a standard size pumpkin! There is a petting zoo and a small train ride for babies and toddlers. It is sufficient if you want to take pictures with pumpkins on hay bales, without traveling far. We took the kiddos to pick out pumpkins at the Pumpkin Station down at Mission Valley Mall yesterday. During our trip, we visited their Petting Zoo. I noticed a bunny kind of sprawled out in her cage in DIRECT sunlight. And mind you, it's been extremely hot lately. She was breathing rapidly and didn't look too well. I mentioned to one of the workers that their bunny was in the direct sunlight and wasn't looking so good. Her response? "She's fine. I just sprayed her with water." I told her that the bunny wasn't fine and that she needed to be moved into the shade. And asked if there was management I could talk to about getting this bunny moved. And with an attitude she told me she would get someone. Another worker who was there apologized and grabbed the bunny out of its cage and took it into the shade. And even mentioned that the poor bunny was breathing really fast. And then management came... An older white lady with really short hair. (I didn't catch her name but I will be going back for it.) And this is how our conversation went: Her: "So I heard you were having a problem with one of our bunnies." Me: "I have an issue with the bunny sitting there in direct sunlight with no available shade. And the poor thing is laying there breathing fast because it's so hot." Her: "It's normal for bunnies to breathe fast." Me: "No, that is not normal. The bunny needs to be moved. There's absolutely no shade for it." Her: "We do have a tarp that shades it at other times of the day. The sun DOES move throughout the day." Me: "What about the other times of the day?! Like now?!" Her: "What do you want me to do? Move the tarp?" Me: "No. I expect you to move the damn bunny!" Her: "Well maybe we need to charge more for people to come in here." ???!!! Me: "All I'm asking is to move the bunny into the shade. Just the necessities. It's really that simple." Her: "We take very good care of our animals here. Our bunnies get sprayed down and bottles of ice." Me: "Well it had neither. And maybe I will send this video (I had taken a video earlier.) into Animal Services and see what they have to say." Her: "Alright. Well are you ready to leave?" Me: "Nope." The staff is very friendly here, we took my toddler to some of the rides and bounce houses that they have and sadly she wouldn't take to many of them. She cried or struggled with a lot of their attractions due to her young age and they would always return the admission ticket back to me if they saw she didn't take full advantage of the ride. I asked if I could use my leftover tickets towards the purchase of some pumpkins and they said no and wouldn't refund them. That was the real disapointment. Why they wouldn't let me use them towards a purchase of their pumpkins was beyond me, Gina and Grace did not even try to meet me halfway, poor customer service on their end if you ask me. read more

Overall, we had a great time! We used a coupon to get ride tickets for half off, which was nice. The petting zoo was the biggest hit! The kids played in there for about an hour. For $1, you can buy a bag of greens to feed the goats. The kids loved feeding the goats, even though they got chased a little. They also have bunnies and chickens at the petting zoo. Pumpkin Station has a handful of bouncy houses and a few other rides (though many of the rides were geared towards smaller children). The one thing that tripped me out a little about the experience is that when the attendant for one of the rides took a break or left, the person who covered for him did not seem to know what was going on and I wasn't even sure if he actually worked there. read more
