There's something special about Liz and John (and their team) at Snagglefoot. We've been using them for years, and they take wonderful care of our 3 dogs - the dogs are so calm and in such good spirits when we return it's like we never left. They truly treat your pets like family! It's easy to talk about the great service Snagglefoot provides when things go well. Where they really set themselves apart, however, is when things go wrong, as they did on our recent weekend away. One of our dogs got desperately sick with a gastrointestinal issue, and I cannot say enough positive things about how Liz, John, and Denise (that day's sitter) handled the situation. It was truly above and beyond! When the dog sitter calls and you're 6 hours away, it's an uneasy feeling. But Liz has such a kindness about her - and a sense of humor! She puts your worries at ease, demonstrates a willingness to help, and does so with patience and concern for your pet. We are so thankful for Denise who first found the disaster, cleaned the initial mess, calmed the sick and stressed-out dog, while still managing to take good care of the other two. We are also incredibly thankful for Liz and John, who arrived soon after to assess the situation. When she called me, Liz immediately offered to take the sick dog to the vet (at 4pm on a Friday). She then administered the first round of medications and rearranged her Snagglefoot schedule so she could stay overnight at our home. It meant so much to us that she'd be available if the dog continued to be sick overnight and to administer the next round of meds in the morning. It also meant a lot that Liz and John cleaned around the house *again* prior to our arriving back home the following night. I whole-heartedly recommend Snagglefoot for your pet-sitting needs! On any given normal visit, you will sense how much they love getting to know your animals. And on those rare occasions when things don't go as planned, you can take comfort in knowing that Liz and John will care for your pets as if they were their own. read more

We've been using Snagglefoot for several months now and are so impressed! We have two large dogs who get walks and lots of love several times per week. Snagglefoot is EVERYTHING I was looking for, and then some. When we travel as a family, we used to have family friends or some close relations look after our pets. But, having moved recently, we didn't really have that option. With a short trip this past week, we needed an answer, and quickly. Enter Snagglefoot Dog Walks & Pet Care. They met with us on a Sunday and talked about our cat and dog. We went through a Q&A worksheet about their habits, daily routine, etc. It was really in-depth. And by the end of things, we felt very comfortable leaving our pets in their hands. Once we were out of the area, we got text/picture updates of each animal every day. And we had details descriptions of each day when we returned. AND, they also did things like getting the mail, bringing in garbage cans and the like for free. This is late, but I didn't want to miss reviewing SnaggleFoot! We used them for the first time in July and they did an awesome job. They did exactly what they said they would do and the expense was less than we would have paid for a good kennel. They also provided updates and photos 3 times a day by email, so we never worried about how the fur babies were doing. We came home to 2 dogs and a cat that acted like we'd never left. They got such good treatment that they didn't even miss us! I can't recommend these folks enough and will definitely use them again. read more

We have had a great experience with Liz at Snaggle Foot! We have an old dog who needs lots of outside time and she has stayed at the house longer than usual so that he could be comfortable and not have any accidents in the house. We were going out of town for almost two weeks and I was so worried about our elderly dog. He did not do well in boarding. We saw Snagglefoot in the neighborhood and called. They were the perfect solution. Our dog is old, cannot hear well and has back legs that are wobbly. I wanted someone who had the patience to take care of him. I could not be happier with how our dog was taken care of. Liz and John are the kindest, most compassionate care providers I have ever met and I knew without a doubt when we got home our dog had exceptional care. Very professional! The sitter fed, medicated and played with our dogs. We were then emailed an update on how the dogs were doing and a picture. It can feel strange to have someone you don't know come into your house while you are gone but I felt very comfortable with Snagglefoot. We will use them again. read more

Liz and her crew have been watching our pups for over a year now and I cannot say enough great things about them. Every time I leave town, I am completely at ease knowing that our girls will be in great hands!! We usually do overnight visits because our girls have some special needs and it makes me feel better knowing that someone is there with them.
