When we first started out, Teusdae, the owner, came to meet my dog and did a few walks with him one-on-one to assess his walking style, behavior, etc. He was then able to transition to buddy walks with Jill and other local dogs. Dobby LOVES Jill and gets so excited every time he sees her. Now he sometimes also does field trip walks where he gets to explore Belle Isle with a group of dogs Detroit Walk City will meet all your walking and pet sitting needs with flexible, reliable, and affordable services. But they go above and beyond that too - the staff are all wonderful and take awesome photos of the dogs on each walk. (See attached) They also have an app that tracks the walking route and if your dog went to the bathroom. Another great benefit is that walking with other dogs has really improved Dobby's behavior. He has been able to learn from other dogs he walks with and has gone from dragging me down the street to loose-leash walking next to me. I did some research, found and met with Jackie, and immediately felt comfortable with her. We've never left our pups alone overnight and I had quite a bit of trepidation doing so on this trip--Jackie immediately put our minds at ease, right from the first night away. We received daily reports on how the pups were doing; photos, e-cards, videos and text messages. We could not have asked for a more professional, caring or thorough person to look after our dogs. I'm fairly certain the pups are still looking for Jackie at her scheduled arrival times (even though we've been home for a little more than a day now). My cat is very sweet, but is very shy and when new people come to visit she always runs to the basement to hide, but when Eve came to do a walk through Butters was still around upstairs wanting to inspect the newcomer. After leaving for our vacation Eve sent me a text everyday and a couple of adorable pictures! It assured me that my house and cat were safe. Butters enjoyed their company so much that when we came home Butters was even cuddlier than she was before Eve and Shiloh gave her their love and attention. The room has tons of options for cats to play, even four month old energetic kittens, and many places to curl up and sleep. There's a web cam in the room so I could check on them whenever I wanted, and they always looked content. They got plenty of attention and the price is extremely reasonable -- much cheaper than boarding services where they'd be stuck in a cage all day. Eve also used to do home visits with my previous cat and did a great job with him. She is very trustworthy and reliable, with good communication. Highly recommended!

Wow! They did such am amazing job watching our two dogs over a long weekend. They came over a few…read moredays before we left to take them through the routine we follow and some of the ins and outs of the house. They not only took great care of our animals, but they watched over our house too. Very trustworthy and they came to our house three times a day to play with the dogs, refill food/ water bowls and even picked up the dog droppings in the yard. Everyday they wrote down notes on how the dogs were that day. They even texted us throughout the weekend to let us know everything was going well. We have a Maltese and a Great Dane to take care of, which are not the easiest dogs to handle in the world. Overall they get 6 stars out of 5. I have 2 dogs, a chihuahua who thinks he is a pitbull, and a dachshund mix who is the biggest wuss…read moreyou've ever met. I also have 2 hairless cats who act like mini dogs! Even though my chihuahua is completely bipolar (His alter ego had been named "Frank" by Marianne and her crew) and can be the nicest sweetest little dude one minute and a total @$$ the next, he is still so very well taken care of, loved, and played with. I absolutely love Marianne and her staff! They are not only reliable, but they are trustworthy. I'm never home when she/they come by. In the warmer months they go for 30 minute walks, in the winter time, she stays inside and plays with them and lets them go potty in my backyard. When I go out of town, she will come by morning, noon, and night to let them out, feed and water them. She sometimes will fill my water dish if I didn't realize it was running low. She is so unbelievable with my pets, I really don't even know how to express it. She has such a strong love and devotion to animals... Sometimes I will take in foster dogs, and she will take just as wonderful care of them as well. She walks all of the dogs together, plays with them all together, and doesn't charge me extra. Santa is going to be good to her this year.
