Holy moly this place is so friggn good. And SO CHEAP! Just $3.50 for a pupusa. I couldn't stop grinning after eating here. A heads-up, their pupusas are HUGE. I thought it was tiny from the pictures but these bad boys are like 6-8 inches in diameter. You can't go wrong with any of them but I personally loved the jalapeño pupusa. When you come in, you can just find an empty table and one of the staff members will bring you menus to order. When you're done with your fabulous meal, you can go up to the cash register and check out. If you're a dope like me and don't speak Spanish, just point. The staff are so sweet and the atmosphere here is so lively with families laughing and enjoying each other's company. I will definitely be coming here more in the future.

Amazing pupusas and the agua Fresca was delicious. Get the garlic and Spinach pupusa 9.5/10. The steak was a bit tough but still good. The Agua Fresca was refreshing and delicious. Dangerously addicting 9/10. Will be back for sure

One Pupusa Revuelta de Arroz on top, and two regular (masa) pupusas. One with shrimp and one with tuna.

this is a beautiful spot with a wonderful selection of pupusa's, agua Fresca's, the service is so sweet and the owner Doña Lola was so kind to come say hello to me this restaurant transports you to El Salvador in a way of authenticity with its pupusa's and fresh Cortito and salsa de Salvador I had a wonderful time trying their rice pupusa's, which is something I haven't seen and other local Dallas pupusa Reyes the amount of Larocco they put in the pupusa was perfect for me. It wasn't too much. It wasn't too little. I thoroughly enjoyed trying their pupusa Loca, which includes Chicharron Salvadoran or pork, Salvador and beans, black beans, Larocco and cheese they even have pupusa's to go, and I love that they have a beautiful logoon their products. Love the cartoon of Doña Lola. It's very adorable. I give this place a 10 out of 10 this is because I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of my experience here I even brought some home to the family go here you wont regret it. I adore the way it feels like El Salvador and is very home-like restaurant feel. THERE IS A 15% SERVICE FEE for dining in. So please keep that in mind. Also at some points there is a woman who is a little sassy that works there.

Pupusas here are the best in Dallas! For the first time we tried some of the other entrees/ soup. Not as good as the pupusas. We will definitely be back because your pupusas are AMAZING!

I've been trying to find the best pupusas for some time and I decided to finally make my way to Pupusas Dona Lola. I attempted to place my order on their website but the site was down at the time, so I called in my order and got a spinach and cheese, bean and cheese and pork and cheese pupusa with extra curtido. By the time I arrived my order was ready. Everything looked and smelled so good, I liked that they provided a sufficient amount of curtido and salsa so extra curtido wasn't really necessary. My favorite pupusa was the spinach and cheese, I'd return for that one for sure but I didn't care for the flavor of the pork in the pork and cheese and the bean and cheese was good but nothing special. Since trying a few different pupusas around the metroplex, Dona is good but I've had better bean and cheese and pork and cheese pupusas elsewhere but that spinach pupusa is top notch in taste. The curtido and salsa was just ok, I wish the curtido had more spice to it and the salsa was on the mild side. Overall, I enjoyed the pupusas but it wouldn't be the first place I'd go If I was craving pupusas but I say still check it out.

The food was delicious and filling. I highly recommend the getting a large marañon to wash it down with.

I tried both the pork and cheese pupusas as well as the shrimp pupusas at this restaurant. The portion was great! I couldn't eat more than too. I also tried the horchata, and it was sweeter than what I'm used to, so I couldn't finish the drink. The service deserves five stars as the staff checked up on us multiple times, ensuring we had a pleasant dining experience. One point to note is that water costs $0.50, and there were no refills. So, if you're planning to stay hydrated, keep that in mind. Despite that, the overall experience was great, and I would definitely recommend trying their delicious pupusas!

I went to this place because my family is Salvadorian and it's hard to find good Salvadorian in our area. This place has really good Salvadorian food. The pupusas are delicious, definitely try it with the masa de arroz. Also they have tamales pisques! So good!! The service was so great, everyone was very kind and it's a great place to go to.

Bean and cheese, shrimp and cheese, Pork and cheese. Can't tell which is which, but all delicious

I'm gonna be honest with y'all, I've only ever had pupusas 3 times in my life. Given my lack of experience, I'm not even going to describe why these were better than the other 2 spots, but to me they were, and let's just say I will have had pupusas a lot more than 3 times before I die. Oh, and prices were cheap

This review is based on Saturday at 12:30pm. The service was slow because it took one hour to have our food ready to eat. I had the breakfast platter with scrambled eggs, cream, cheese, purée of beans, and sweet plantain. I'm not a cheese lover person so the cheese was not a hit for me. The cheese was too full of taste that I did not like but that's just me. The sweet plantain was perfection! I hated the horrible service since I was starving. My sister ordered the pupusas and it was her favorite as she comes here often. She also mentioned this was the worse service she had at this place, maybe because it was during the weekend lunch time. I would go back here but at a different time.

I ordered from the lunch menu, the Carne Flameada, a specialty drink that I believe was a mocktail /refresher but I cannot remember the name! "Agua" was in the name and it had hibiscus and cucumber in it and for dessert the flan. Everything was delicious, savory and perfect temperature. William was my server and was great when it came to recommendations & overall service. He was very accommodating, checked on me regularly and even sang happy birthday when he brought out my flan. This location had been consistent with satisfactory service but today was really nice. Thank you.

We arrived before the lunch rush during the week and still had a 20 minute wait. I figured out it was probably due to a waitstaff shortage because there were plenty of tables available. I do love the decor of the restaurant and love the decorative glass on the ceiling. After our buzzer went off, we were shown to a table near the back. I noticed several really long tables filled with huge parties of business people. I ordered my usual entree - tamales and hubby ordered chicken enchiladas. I love snacking on the warm black bean dip and chips. I have to make myself stop eating them so I'll have room for my meal. I can only eat one tamale, do I took the remaining 2 home to enjoy later. I showed my server the email on my phone for a free flan. I'm not a real fan of flan so I asked if i could pay the difference between the cost of the flan and the churros, which I much preferred. He came back after checking with his manager and told me they couldn't do that. This was very disappointing to me. I was really looking forward to churros, not flan. I asked if I could take the flan home and it was packaged up. We enjoyed our leftover tamales and enchiladas. I really didn't care for the flan, so I doubt if I will go there again for the birthday freebie. I know I could have also ordered the churros and just paid for them, but it was only a flight difference in cost. I would have thought that if they truly cared about customer satisfaction, especially for a special event like a birthday that they might have made the requested accommodation.
