Brittany does not listen and had to go back where, to my surprise, she partially dissolved creating the appearance of an unnecessary scar. Impossible to make it look horrific unless intentionally. In 2021 I was assaulted by Brookes at Dr Garcia's Contoura office leaving uneven bulges and simply went to Brittany to even out that area, not complicated. Bottom line I was bullied simply because I complained about her work. I'm now a licensed esthetician and warning people of the dangers that can happen when in the wrong care. Brittany and Brookes made bad choices and can NOT trust many of these medical spas as they are obsessed with making money. Do not let your guard down as they will look for opportunities to create a hook to keep you coming back. Looked better before letting these peasant girls touch me. read more

Beware! Do not go to this Med spa. They charge you for more than they give you. You buy 657 units of Botox and they give you much less. That is how they make up for their low prices and high discounts. They also don't respect their customers by not wearing masks. Stay away from this spa. What a wonderful experience! My husband and I both went for the hydra facials and loved the results. The staff was lovely, the treatments were relaxing and the results couldn't have been better. If I had the time and money I'd be back weekly... as is it will become a special treat. Loved Pura Vida and we are delighted we had the opportunity to experience such a lovely place. I would give them zero stars if I could. They are super nice to you while they are taking your money and then if you have a complaint they refuse to stand behind their work and cut you off as a patient. They are frauds and don't you dare ask for them to fix anything they've done because they were refused to and hang up on you. If you leave a bad review they will punish you beyond your wildest dreams. I wouldn't go back there if my life depended on it. Horrible experience, do not go to these people. They straight up scammed me. I got a lip filler that was supposed to last between 6 months and a year. After 1 month, the filler completely disappeared. I told the owners about it and they told me I can come back and pay a full price another filler, after I asked them to fix it, they blocked me on Instagram. I am not one to visit doctor's offices willingly, let alone a medical spa. With that being said, as I've gotten older, I have become more and more sensitive to particular areas on my face. I decided to take the plunge going into 2017 and receive some treatment that will plump up my cheeks to make my eye sockets appear less hollow, as well as some minor lip tweaking. Jill was extremely knowledgeable and kind, stopping when I needed to to catch a breath of air. Even after the procedure was complete, we sat and chatted for quite some time about recovery time, post treatment tips as well as general life events. I was honestly expecting it to be extremely painful, but Jill's calm demeanor made all the difference! I would definitely recommend this spa to anyone looking for non-invasive procedures! read more

My esthetician, Erin was very lovely and informative of what she was doing in the dermaplaning and hydrafacial I had done. My skin is now so radiant and hydrated! I went to to Pura Vida for a cool sculpting consultation not knowing that much about the spa other than some other reviews on Yelp. Can I say amazing! From the moment I walked through the door I felt pampered. There are snacks and a wide variety of drinks for you while you wait. I didn't have to wait long at all. Jill greeted me and as soon as we started talking it was like talking to one of your best girlfriends. She is very thorough with the consultation, let's you know the prices up front (no surprises) for the desired place for the procedure and made me feel very comfortable. I spent over $800 for laser hair removal because they told me they have a 100% success rate even on blonde hair. Well come to find out they kept promising the next time that it would work and it never did. If you have any type of blonde hair, do not be fooled, their "latest and greatest" laser machines DO NOT get rid of all hair types. Their technician would also make promises and then the next time I came in she would backtrack. Make sure EVERYTHING agreed upon is in writing at this place! read more

I have to say pure vida med spa are great with Facials and no complaints in that department, but when it came to the silohett Facelift, beware....I wish I had seen reviews on it but never did, but whenever i was in town i always loved my facials so I thought I could trust them with a silhouette lift especially knowing they were doing it for a while....I have to say i have never had more insecurities with my face then I do now...I had done a threadlift once before and I LOVED it so much, and I would have continued to use the same Dr. But she is in California, but when I saw pure vida did it, I DECIDED to give it a shot....Biggest mistake i ever did, I honestly can not wait for these threads to dissolve so I can see myself again.....i have what is called a pucker on the left side and a dimple on the side of my chin, and depending on how my face is angled you can see the line of the thread, the right side healed pretty quickly no puckering, but same thing, depending on the way my face is turned you will see the thread, and to boot on the side of my mouth inside I feel the thread I went a week after for a check up and she saw and did agree it was still swollen, but I could not return because I am back in N.Y., so after waiting about 2 weeks I decided to have a bit a filler to correct the hollow areas the thread left, I sent her a message regarding the puckers and the line but from the message i read it seemed she wanted to blame the injector did something to disturb the threads meanwhile, my complaint with her was from day 1.....anyone deciding on threads please be sure to go to a professional, I made the mistake, dont make the same mistake I did! read more

Absolutely worst facial I have ever received. Their machine broke for the treatment I had booked for. Was given a subpar different facial. Esthetician was silent through majority of treatment, not explaining anything. Will never ever go back. Would not recommend this to anyone- total ripoff. read more
