They gave a little more instruction and started with some slower moves which is nice for the newbies. My legs were SHAKING during the bar portion. My mom liked it so much she's thinking about going back for another class. They offer a free week for locals which is nice. Parking was easy. Studio was nice looking and very clean. They have the cutest items! Everyone was so nice and accommodating. It's always intimidating walking into a new studio and a new workout you've never done. It was judgment free and some of the regulars just started talking to us right away. The classes are tough for my skill set but at the same time they don't judge you if your a beginner or never have taken barre, yoga or cardio classes. I was expecting some sort of dance class but it is unique because they add elements of cardio and yoga in it. So far I have had the pleasure of taking Fabiana's class over the weekend. She was encouraging as well as helpful during my moments of cluelessness. I enjoyed the work out so much that I decided to try this studio for a month to see what kind of results I get. Also I took Jackie's class as well. She was so nice and made sure I was not lost. At times I want to laugh while in class because I look so ridiculous doing the poses however it's a fun learning experience. This type of studio took me out of my comfort zone and I'm really liking it. Every instructor is very caring and do not make you feel like a outsider. I would recommend anyone to try a barre class. The studio has a number of classes that use silks that hang from the ceiling for various classes. Although I was not there for that type of class it looks like a great class to try in the future. The owner of the studio was so welcoming and open her studio for the sound meditation event. If you haven't been to a sound meditation it has to be one of my favorite experiences. It was an hour and 15 minutes where you relax laying down on a mat as the instructor plays metal bowls which create a vibration that goes through body. At the end of the class I left the studio completely relaxed. Thank you to Katrina that led the class such an amazing experience.

This is an awesome facility and I truly enjoy spending time there. There's something for everyone no matter what your fitness goals are-- during my time as a member I've gone from "taking a break" from working out and doing a lot of yoga/relaxing and now currently getting back into a bodybuilding program. The gym offers a variety of equipment and I never have to improvise due to lack of equipment. I might be staying the obvious here, but if you are into powerlifting, I would probably go elsewhere. The cardio machines are brand new and really nice. The actual place itself is very clean. I feel totally comfortable showering in the locker room and they have everything you need- towels, body wash, lotion, razors, etc. The outdoor pool is really pretty and nice to relax at after a workout. Staff is super nice and helpful. I have yet to buy any food from the cafe but it looks good. Definitely some good options if you're in a bind or spending a long time there. I will gladly pay the extra $ to train in a clean and peaceful gym.
