I have taken several private sessions so far and her instruction is elite. The reformer machines are a little different from others but I have learned are the most accurate to the truest form of Joseph Pilates, not to mention aesthetically pleasing and high quality. There are so many different apparatuses to explore, like the Cadillac and barrel. Every workout is different and challenging. I recommend Delfina and this studio if you want to hone in on the practice of Pilates through your form, technique, and the all important mind-body connection. I went to a beginners class and it was just meh. The instructor was a bit stern. She didn't ask about any injuries or limitations and had she, she wouldn't have pressed my knees down (I have to have them up a little due to being hyper mobile) or would've at least asked if that was ok. Especially at the high price of classes, and it being beginners, I would've thought that's something that would have been asked or been more careful with. I literally had to say "I can't do that, I'm hyper mobile" and she gave me a weird look. There was like no caring or personality. Needless to say, I won't be returning.

Never will I come back here postpartum. So unprofessional. If you have the lack of knowledge to work with pregnant people, take down your advertising for it. So, instead of going in and hurting myself, hurting another student or monopolizing the entire class time asking questions--I agreed. I AM SO GLAD I LISTENED! The session was great! Kirsten was precise and patient. I felt the workout in my abs the next day--and truly that's my reason for exercising! I'm looking forward to my next lesson! The studio is beautiful. It's recently been remodeled and is a hidden gem in Boca.
