Firstly, these workouts are not a joke - they're tough! But the professionals who teach there are so amazing at helping everyone adapt to their body's needs. Some days you can push to the edge and some days you can't - you will be challenged at barre3 but never made to feel embarrassed or weak if you need a break or need to modify the flow. Secondly, the space is a major reason I continue with this particular studio, even driving from Pittsburgh for a bit to get there. It's open and inviting with loads of natural light! I looooove that. They have everything you'll need - clean towels, all the equipment, plus toiletries and showers etc. Lastly, each class ends with guided breathe work - just five minutes with the music soft and the lights off learning a breathing exercise to end the class. I can't tell you how many times this place, the people there and the workouts have lifted me out of some darkness. Specifically, the owner Katie, is hilarious and you can't be around her without feeling better afterward. Five hundred stars barre3!

I push myself to do every rep even when my muscles have had it, and I am only slightly sore the next day and completely recovered by day 2. The session always ends with adequate stretches to the muscles used most. I see a change in my body after just 2 weeks and I feel amazing. They change up every class so you never know what you're gonna get and you never get bored. Every instructor I have had so far has been a real pro. I highly recommend this to anyone who is generally physically healthy and wants to improve muscle tone and flexibility.

Cameron Wellness Center is a top notch facility. As a member, I love that there is not only an…read moreawesome weight/cardio area for exercising, but the indoor track, basketball court, and lap pool are what make this place really stand out from other fitness centers. The pool area also has a communal hot tub, and sauna. The ladies locker room has a steam room, with showers. As someone who enjoys group exercise classes it is great to have an option to sign up for free classes as well (cycling, yoga, etc.) Spa Harmony is fantastic, and my 80 minute facial was the best that I had ever had. To top it off, CWC is taking so many extra steps during COVID. The fitness center is spotless, and the employees are constantly cleaning and have their masks on. I have been a member on and off at this fitness center for around 6 years or so and I would highly recommend it to anyone. The prices are higher than surrounding fitness centers, but you get so much more for your money by joining here.

The women have been forced to share the locker room with children and men. UPMC has made little to no progress toward the repairs to the showers and steam room located in the women's locker room. When we ask for updates we are gaslight and treated as if we are the problem. If UPMC can get away with gaslighting women at a wellness center, imagine how their healthcare providers gaslight and treat women. UPMC's handling of this situation is completely unacceptable!
