However they werent successful in reaching her to advise our scheduled instructor wasn't available for our time. Heather happened to be there and apologize for the confusion, she herself had a class scheduled but said she was willing to do ours too if we could wait an hour. Since we were all there (10+), we agreed. Heather advised she's the instructor for the booty barre class but she gave us a sample of everything. The class was great! She was very upbeat and had a great attitude. We appreciate her taking care of us and turning around what started out as a totally negative experience!

I recently moved to Henry County & have been looking for a spinning class in the area. I googled &…read morefound Mind & Body Fitness Loft at Hood Street Art Center so I was ecstatic & submitted an email on terridanovic.com letting them know that I was interested in the class. Terri who I guess is the owner of Mind & Body Fitness lets me know that the class is at 11 am on Friday. I show up to take spinning & she was a no show. I got to the loft at 5 minutes to 11, checked the door it's locked, walk back to my car, waited until 11:01am, checked door again, turning the door knob, looked through the window & see no one. Her business # is above her door where it says entrance only, then to the right her # is on her board again where she is advertising her classes. I call the # twice & no answer, so I emailed her & no respond. I then drive back to the front of the building & no on was there either. I get it if Terri did not have enough people taking the class & maybe it was cancelled so send out a cancellation email or something. My time is money & I am a business owner myself DO NOT WASTE MY TIME, she could have sent out an email or posted somewhere to say class would be cancelled. When we emailed back & forth she said Friday at 11am, my response was okay, thank you. I showed up & she was a NO SHOW. Bad business & she literally pissed me off, I am an extremely understanding person & if we communicated earlier in the week and you say to me class is Friday at 11:00 I am going to SHOW UP! (Unless she says otherwise) Communicate with your clients or potential clients. I shall take my money to others that will RESPECT my time, I even asked a lady I saw outside with her kids coming from ballet and she said it happened to her too and I just shook my head because once is enough. Your running business for damn sake. Terrible, absolutely terrible! P.S. Terri and I emailed each other on February 14th, 2018 so she knew I was definitely interested in Friday's spinning class.

The staff is just…read moreannoying enough to keep order and make sure that the patrons behave and take care of the gym, but other than that they are all very nice, laid back and courteous. The gym has a nice swimming pool, two basketball courts (the one in the front was recently redone, 2021), a gaggle of racquetball courts, two gyms (one crossfit-esque), ping pong tables, and a martial arts room. Not to mention the various other rooms where group classes are held. There is also an upstairs indoor track, the full track and football/soccer field across the street, and another outdoor crossfit area. WIthout writing a 3 page review, there is no way to completely describe the amenities, but if you have access to the base, this is one of two very nice gyms available to you. Half the numbers posted on the web are old and misleading, providing wrong information about the hours and days of operation, including what time military vs civilian access. Things should be so much better, seems fitness is a low priority at Robins AFB. Base commander should get her act together.
