The shop is small, moody, and thoughtfully arranged. It's a great place to stop by when gift shopping or looking to treat yourself. I recently purchased a small candle for a friend, which was beautifully wrapped and came with a complementary gift of matches in a small jar. I look forward to returning soon!

I stopped in because last year I bought "witchy woman" beanie, and wanted something new and cute for the fall. I had my eye on bookish advent calendar. Unfortunately, the owner circled me like an eagle for my duration at the store, then stood at the entrance just staring at me. I have no idea what it is that I did to cause this reaction. I've been to the store plenty of times before and had positive experience. I also visit and know many vintage vendors in the area. The whole experience just didn't sit well with me. I decided to not purchase anything because this type of behavior shouldn't be supported. It was uncalled for and unpleasant. I won't be returning. CS Folk (formerly BB Folk) calls itself a general store. General store means that you'll find all kinds of goodies here - home decor, trendy clothing, food items, and accessories. The store is in the stretch of Ohio City that's known for its vintage and thrift stores. Go to this store especially when you want unique gifts. INVENTORY: The store's inventory includes lots of cool clothing merchandise from local makers. For instance, I found a very fitting "witchy woman" hat at this store. Other merchandise that always gets me excited see home decor and wall art. There is an expansive shelf with refined decor. Prices are pretty reasonable considering the uniqueness. SERVICE: I found all staff to be very chatty and friendly. Always welcoming atmosphere. PARKING: Find street parking along Lorain Avenue and in the surrounding streets. It never tends to be busy in the area. EVENTS: The store collaborates with its neighbors - Table for 2, Recreational Pots and Plants for sidewalk markets. They're always fun and involved plenty of local makers. I highly recommend visiting the next market. I always love wandering into this store and tend to gravitate toward beanies and clothing. I hope to drop in again next weekend to treat myself.

I would also say that the vintage selection is very reasonably priced for being curated vintage items... you really are paying for the organized eclectic curation of the fabulous owners. I ended up talking with one of the owners for quite some time... if you get the chance, make it a point to chat with her. I didn't catch her name but we got chatting for quite some time. Especially in pandemic times- having a nice, wholesome conversation with someone you don't know too well is quite rare. I contacted the store this morning to tell them what happened. I spoke with Fred (I think that was his name) and explained what I had ordered and when. He set aside replacement boxes for my sister to pick up. I was unsure when I hung up the phone whether my sister would have a bill when she picked up the replacements or if it would be no charge. I was delighted when my sister told me that there was no charge. The damage happened via FedEx, not this business, but I really appreciate the incredible customer service on the back end of the sale.
