Darryl was incredibly easy to work with at 1st but was just telling me what I wanted to hear. After…read morerecieving damaged/flawed flooring he offered to have it remade but unfortunately that wouldve taken weeks and would have cost more than 100k in office fees, not to mention all the scheduled trades wouldnt be available to finish the project on that timeline. So I had made a suggestion that if we had been compensated for the Hassel I could make the flawed flooring work by installing a herringbone pattern and double cutting the the frayed edging. Keep in mind this would take 3x or more the effort on the installer side of things but we could keep the project on schedule, he wouldn't have to send the carpet tiles back and have them remade, wouldnt have to redeliver the materials, or cover the costs of office rental which was 50k alone for the one work space. So in all saving Floors on Crowfoot a ton of money, the hassle of sending it back and having it remade, enabling them to save face and come out on top. The deal was 15% of the over all flooring to be discounted and given to the installers to cover the extra work load. The agreed upon number was 18k which by all means was an amazing deal for the store and the flooring manufacturers. After the job was installed and completed Darrell cut a cheque for 6k to go to the installers for all the extra work that was involved. Shouldve known better than to trust a salesperson. So buyer beware, Darrell is a liar and a theif and I would never spend a cent in this store. If your looking to purchase flooring go to Jondan's!! They have amazing selection and their reviews are top notch!

CDL replaced some hardwood flooring at my house in Calgary that was damaged by a water leak. Mark,…read morepromised to me, in person, that the match would be "perfect"... literally. When installed for a cost of $25k, the wood didn't even have the right finish (wire brushed instead of satin); the color match was poor too. That said, we were tired of living through construction so let it go after they claimed (condescendingly) that the match was "as good as possible". What we didn't realize at the time is that while replacing the trim, their installer sloppily fired a nail through a visible copper water pipe, which caused a slow leak that caused about $10k in damage. When they came to inspect it, they assured me that the pipe "should not have been there", so it was not their fault. They put a nail through a visible pipe and it was the pipe's fault. Overall, they treated us with great disrespect, poor attention to detail, poor professionalism and sloppy work. All at premium pricing. I'd avoid this company at all costs.

Each project went smoothly, on time and on budget. Each time the product recommendations gave a fabulous result. My most recent project with Kings was completed at the end of April '18. A vacant rental condo - I had to be out of town the day of the install and I was a little nervous. But Sales Rep, Guy, handled everything. I gave him the keys a week ahead of time, his long-time crew did the install, he arranged a plumber to re-fit the toilets, he inspected the job & emailed me photos, and when I got back in town a week afterwards I picked my keys at the store. When I spoke with him, he explained the situation and offered to install the transition. He was kind and understanding. Right now we are just organizing this appointment.
