Pure Health is not really a stand out sort of health food shop, just an a neighbourhood place where you'll shell out 2 pounds plus for tofu. This store has a good dried legume section and sells Proavil soya for 99p. There is a health practitioner section in the back. The only draw back, I saw a woman wearing a white therapists outfit cleaning. Not cool if managment is so cheap here they won't get a cleaner. I would tell them where to put it. read more

I went in here looking for supplements. I wanted to get their prices and see what they stocked. When you first walk in you find a bunch of mainly Zolgar brand vitamins and minerals and then as you move along the isle it becomes food. I actually thought that was all they had in stock. It turns out that they have more supplements on the other side of the shop, a funny way to lay out your store when trying to compare varieties of the same supplement. So look around before making up your mind. They have a pretty good selection of dry non perishable foods. I found their vitamins pricey and the guy a bit pushy. I left the store. read more

I was surprised by the drab looking of this store and found it odd that there was only one or two items in each isle as opposed to a full line of the same food. Does the shop manager go into the back room and get another item each time someone buys something. Either they are looking to close down or they are worried about thieves thus only put out one item in each range. A bit odd as it makes the store look really empty, and what if you wanted to buy two items of the same thing? Although i was actually pleased to find some dried spaghetti that i bought from a vegetarian festival and liked and hadn't found since. read more
