When I…read moremoved to Fort Langley 12 years ago my closest Save On Foods was Walnut Grove and up to now have both shopped in store and used their pickup service. Over the years I have gradually found customer service slowly but surely going downhill. The staff appear to dislike seniors and are both unfriendly and unhelpful. Today proved just how little they think of customer service. I was going to use the pickup service and was happy that there was a slot available for today. I picked a time slot and then commenced my shopping. It was a large order ($250.00) and it took me some time to put together. Time came to checkout and upon almost completing checkout was advised that my time slot was gone and I would have to choose a time for tomorrow. Due to prior commitments this was impossible. As I thought that time may have been on my side I called the online customer service who kindly contacted the store. They were advised by the store there was only one person available on staff to complete orders and they were going home in 20 minutes so........ NO they could not complete my order. Needless to say, I cancelled my order and that will be my last use of this Walnut Grove Save on Foods. So very disappointing!!!!!!!!!

First off, they're very Covid conscious. If you don't want to go inside, you can give them a call and they will bring your items outside to you. There is hand sanitizer everywhere, and everyone wears masks. Second - my goodness, everyone is SO NICE. Super helpful. I needed to get a prescription filled, and they had me entered into the system quickly and filled the prescription within 15 minutes. They also worked with me on a flu shot I had scheduled to reschedule me to when I wasn't on a steroid treatment. They never made me feel like I was inconveniencing them or putting them out, they were truly happy to just be helping me. You're not going to be getting a huge selection of everything you want or need for your pharmacy needs (it's not a Walgreens), but they are going to have something for you. Prices are a little higher, but hey, it's an island. In addition to the 'pharmacy' section, the General Store has a large selection of goods. There is a huge selection for kids - toys, markers, crayons, etc., amongst seasonal items. We're really grateful to have Ray's just a stones throw away for whatever we need!

All is good as long as yup can get in first thing in the morning, they are late opening on occasion which is not helpful when you're trying to get a quick pick up before work.

I have been with them for years now…read more Pros -Attentive Customer Service -Amazing Digital Resources Cons -Dispensing Fees are slightly more expensive. (Which is understandable) I currently use the Spencer Machine for my medication. I have worked closely with Colleen and she has gone above and beyond to make sure my meds are working and that I am okay. Colleen treated me with the utmost care and I have never received such care from any pharmacy before. She truly acts like she cares and wants to help and I greatly appreciate it! Whenever I am about to run out of my meds they are always on top of it as I have issues remembering. I highly recommend this pharmacy with the Spencer machine if u take several medications and can be forgetful. I have ADHD so it's very hard for me to remember to do things and ever since I have been on Spencer, the consistency of me remembering to take my meds has increased GREATLY. Which has overall improved my mental health. My only complaint is that the dispensing fees are a little more pricey but it is 100% worth it for the care you get. But I don't mind at all paying a bit more in order to receive the care they give. This pharmacy is the definition of wanting to work with/for you and will go above and beyond to make sure your health is okay.

As discussed: Fosfomycin - This antibiotic treats only bacterial infections. It will not work for viral infections (such as common cold, flu). Using any antibiotic when it is not needed can cause it to not work for future infections. Fosfomycin should not be used to treat infections outside the bladder (such as kidney infections). So when I told you I had a Kidney infection and you conversed with the doctor and gave this to me anyway YOU PUT MY HEALTH AT RISK REQUIRING HOSPITALIZATION! YOU SHOULD BE BANNED FROM PRESCRIBING AND FILLING MEDICATION!!!
