I am a four month Denver resident. I have been skateboarding for 25 years and just a week ago I experienced the worst skull fracture of my entire lifetime. The doctors at the hospital where I stayed for the past week told me that I had 15 mm of space in my school that was caused by swelling from the fracture and bleeding directly onto my brain. I love this dispensary- every time I come here, I'm greeted by ppl who seem to love their environment- cuz they're always so friendly! Their canna saver deals are the best in the area, they always have a great selection (I think once I was unlucky on my timing and they still had 5 different waxes to choose from).. Tonight I was lucky with Robin behind the counter, she was so friendly-shared her favorite products and didn't rush me with my decisions! It was also a pretty slow evening so their assistant manager Todd also happily shared some of his favorite new strains! The lack of attention or matter to my id being requested and never returned Or my call returned. I called 4 times since I left because I'm from out of state. All four (4) time's they have promised to call me back and to return my id. Moreover, have yet to get a call back which I just called again and was promised a call back by Dayshia. Also, another person above her who answered who also said the prior coworker had taken my number and they did not. So I had to give her my number. I'd give this place a better review but there's been ONE guy that works there who has been consistently rude. I. purchased 8 pens within two months three of them didn't work. When I went to return the last one as I just got rid of the others I was told they couldn't do anything. First of all, Carlos is always friendly, very well informed bud tender and an incredible human being. He bends over backwards for me every time I am in there and has ALWAYS been so gracious and kind, it is offensive that people who have issues which have nothing to do with this business can take out their anger in a YELP review. I love those who work here. They have great products, they have an incredible staff who has become like family to me in the many years I have been going there and wouldn't consider going anywhere else. I've been going to Pure on E. Colfax for about five years. I found them back when they were medical only. They were always so helpful and knowledgeable and what I needed was in stock. I did get worried when they were about to make the transition to recreational as well as medical, but they did a great job of it. The shop remains a very pleasant place to shop and the employees are very friendly and helpful. Carlos, the manager, has been there for quite a long time. He is awesome. It will be difficult for you not to leave with a smile on your face if Carlos is working. The only negative I can come up with is that at times it is a little sparse on flower on the medical side , but I've never left empty handed. Use to shop at this store when it opened, occasionally shop the downtown location. Came here yesterday and it was sloppy. Walked in and no one was manning the window. Had to yodel to get help. Holy bologna! 5 stars?? Damn right, you betcha, friend. This badasseria has more of my consumer loyalty than any other place I frequent. First of all, LOCATION. This joint (pun fully intended) is off a major Denver street- Colfax- but somehow is never surrounded by traffic. This makes access easy and nil stress anytime of day. Secondly, the SELECTION. However you choose to connect with your inner Cheech, they've got it in every flavor; fat pre-rolleds on the cheap, vape pens and oil, and a variable Willy Wonka approved selection of snacks. Hell, they've even got THC coffee here- so you can be both Snoop Dogg and Martha. However, even though they have a plethora of different options, their selection doesn't overwhelm. They have just enough variety for you to pick your best possible high, but not so much of it that you feel you need a botany degree to get yo' swerve on. And lastly, THE STAFF. This rag-tag bunch of Marvel-created superstars are the biggest reason for my loyalty to Pure. For a stretch of time, they carried a specific strain of pre-rolleds they kept in the back just because I requested them. That's customer appreciation. OMG! I stopped into Pure on Colfax today to ask some questions and find out a little more about the Pure Pen that I purchased. It's packaging had an instruction card and I had no clue what a lot of it even meant! I needed help! Today I met Carlos. He just happened to be at this location as he is a trainer for them and moves around. Cool and wow I thought. He must know a lot! My lucky day... I first asked about the Pure Pen and that I did not know if it was working. How would I know I asked? Carlos brought out one similar to mine, put it together, and carefully showed me where to look and actually "see" what was happening. Eureka! I had looked everywhere and here was Carlos with exactly the help I needed. It goes on... Carlos was concerned and urged me to bring my pen back before the 60 days and he would check it. That is above and beyond. Then, after I made a comment that what I was using was ineffective (not from Pure) and he said, "Wait a minute. I just thought of something you might like," and he pulled out the (heck I don't know what you call it) the glass bulb thing to convert the Pen to a different type of tool? Awesome!!! Preface: I am a Denver resident, and my friends refer to me as a "Level 11 Pothead." So with that, I would like to tell you why Pure is the best dispensary in the entire CO Front Range area. Let's start with the quality of the bud. It's top notch. When I moved to CO in January 2016, I assumed every dispensary had similar quality greens. That assumption is wrong-- many places have mediocre looking and tasting bud. Pure is the exact opposite-- amazing, beautiful, and delicious cannabis; and they always have a huge variety of strains. Oh also-- their prices are pretty much the best in Denver, and they have daily deals that are pretty fantastic. Sales for bud often go as low as $94/oz before tax-- and once again ALL of their strains are quality and on-point. Let me tell you about their pre-rolled joints. Most dispensaries don't get great reviews on their pre-roll stuff-- usually burns poorly and is regarded as not a good value for your money. I buy Pre-roll joints from Pure when I am hosting guests at my house, or if I'm going to a friend's house for a party. Pure pre-roll joints are really good- every time! They burn evenly, they burn long and slow, they are big and you know they are filled with that great Pure cannabis! As with their bud selection, they always have a variety of strains to choose from. Prices are the same or better than other dispensaries in Denver, and they also run a joint special once a week (check their website). Finally-- my biggest recommendation at Pure is the Critically Extracted CO2 hash oil. I am an everyday-type Hash Oil Vaporizer, and Pure is quite frankly they ONLY place I will ever buy Hash Oil from. It comes from Colorado Cannabis Co, and Pure operates labs on-site at some of their stores. Also a quick shout out to the staff-- they are friendly, accommodating, knowledgeable and professional. They also seem to truly enjoy their work, and they know how to have a comfortable rapport with their customers. I live just down the street from this dispensary, less than a block away. I first shopped here when recreational marijuana first became legal. Right away I sensed an attitude on the part of the sales people, and felt that I was unwelcome, particularly if I came in less than 15 minutes before closing. In those instances they treated me as though they just wanted to get rid of me as fast as they could. I believe that any business that says they are open til seven should welcome any customer that comes in right up until closing. For a couple of years now, I have been going two blocks further up to Mindful because their service is better as is their product. The last stuff I bought at Pure was inferior quality and not worth the money. I also bought an inexpensive pipe there that blew out within a week, and I try to return it to them but they wouldn't even discuss it.
