Left a note on the desk for someone to please call me to cancel my membership over the phone as I made an attempt to do it in person but was unable to. I haven't heard from anyone. Called this morning, let the phone ring for 5 min. No answer. This place is ridiculous.

Sadly, it is no longer the…read morecase! * Although someone obviously has the time to draw elaborate and catchy pictures on whiteboards about remembering to scan your membership card when entering the gym, there often isn't a person at the front desk to greet you. Nor is there a manager or even an acting manager on duty . . . EVER! Everything is handled by "corporate," which translates to, "We don't care about the wellness of our members. We care about numbers and money. Work out at your own discretion . . . and, make sure to have a healthy day!" Customer service is NOT factored into the ESporta Springfield gym. * I could understand if the employees were busy cleaning the restrooms or wiping down equipment, but that's not evident either. The restrooms have a pungent weed and urine stench. So... where are the employees? Hmmm. * I find it oddly interesting that employees (mostly male employees) are in the women's locker rooms during the 5:00--6:00 time. Wouldn't it be better to get the cleaning done at lower volume times when women aren't changing their clothes . . . mid-afternoon maybe? When I speak of employees, please know that I am in NO WAY referring to instructors. The instructors, especially Jill H. (Yoga), Jill C. (Body Works Plus Abs), and Vidya E. (Aqua Fit) are outstanding! Regina, who taught the aqua classes for years, was incredible as well! Although I was not a member at the time, several members sing Regina's praises frequently. Such a loss that she moved on. * The women's sauna has been out of service for at least three months! Word around the gym is that a part has been ordered. Some guests were given a date of January 24th for the sauna to be usable. Others have heard that ESporta has no intention of getting the sauna back into working order. Maybe that promised date of January 24th is correct, but the year wasn't specified as 2025??? * The temperature of the pool is too cold! Complaints have fallen on deaf ears. Employees give members the tired excuse over and over, "We aren't authorized to check the temperature of the pool." If they can't perform a task as simple as that, how can members trust that the chemicals are properly balanced? Just this evening, three members and the instructor walked into the membership area in our bathing suits to ask for assistance. Instead of coming to test the water, the employee claimed that he would "shut the pool down!" Please explain how someone who isn't authorized to check the pool's temperature, has the authority to shut the pool down??? * Come on, ESporta Springfield! You could have a top notch facility without a doubt. In fact, it WAS a top notch facility until the last year. Why not make it YOUR New Year's resolution (for 2025) to get your gym back in shape?

Jeremy Ferry isn't your standard trainer. He's the type of trainer you go to when you want results and you're ready to put the work in. He listens to your concerns, questions, and goals. He will challenge you, encourage you, support you, and most important, hold you accountable. To put it simply, he does everything he can to empower you to make your goals a reality! The personal training groups are small... usually no more than 6 people during a busy time, and on average about 2-3 people. It's not a cookie cutter workout where everyone does the same thing. He has each person doing their own unique workout, but in a group setting. The workouts are definitely challenging, but you will have fun doing them. The environment is positive and uplifting, and I always leave feeling better than when I came in. The people you work out with become friends. Everyone is incredibly friendly and helpful. We want to see each other succeed! We cheer each other on, celebrate the good times, and support each other during the rough days. This is the first gym I've found where it really does feel like a family. For those who are just looking for a membership at a gym, don't let the size of Pure Performance fool you, it is a clean facility, well maintained, safe, and you're helping support a local business! The doors stay locked, there are cameras in and out of the gym, and the parking lot is lit... so even if there alone I feel completely safe! The space has everything you need to get a complete, full body workout done whether you are wanting to do strength training, cardio, body weight, or mat exercises.

I went late April for back adjustments and ended up meeting with Pat. My overall experience was…read moremediocre. I had several subluxations with my back and tmj pain being the most problematic for me as well as my wrist popping. Without going into too much detail the visit I cancelled after the first month because my visits were all of 3 or 4 minutes and the relief wasn't great enough for the amount of money I was paying. There was little focus on my jaw and I was disappointed that in one session I had to tell him, what about my wrist? What about my Jaw discomfort? To top off the mediocre sessions when I cancelled he removed the discounted price and charged me full prices after taking more than one visit auto out of my account when the paperwork you sign says if you cancel they'll refund whatever visits you don't come to. Lesson learned for me, I will never pay in advance for more than one visit at a time. I feel Duped and will not be recommending their services to anyone. I honestly feel like I should've just paid for a few deep tissue massages instead of giving them well over $500 to still have some discomfort.

Now it's been almost a year and I've been going 1-2 times a week. It's always a great workout whenever I go and I'm always sore the next day! I don't know how some people go multiple days in a row because I'm absolutely destroyed after each workout. The instructors are super motivating and definitely push you to run faster and lift heavier weights. I've seen lots of improvement over the past few months in my treadmill speeds and I still love every class with the high energy music!

I've had PT at many facilities and never really did much to further my rehab. Arlan and Reno are high above any other PT in spfld. Arlan worked diligently with me for about 12weeks. His approach to patient treatment is like a puzzle challenge for him. He is able to recognize and treat your rehab so you can return to normal activities.
