The menu here is large and the food was fresh and yummy. I had the açaí bowl and it was delicious! The atmosphere was hip and they had fun outdoor sitting area - perfect for enjoying a healthy breakfast in nice weather!

Great place to go that will appeal to vegans, vegetarians, and meat-lovers alike! Extensive breakfast and lunch menu, along with a counter with salads and goodies that you can make a plate out of. They also offer a wide range of juices and smoothies to choose from that are mostly vegan or can be made without dairy! I had the falafel wrap ($14) which was amazingly filling and very fresh. Loved the tahini dressing it came with. Also was craving a juice so got the Rejuvenate juice ($7) and really enjoyed that as well. Only downside was that the service was a little bit slow for someone like me who was there on my brief lunch break, but probably is a bit faster if you get your food to takeaway and find a nice spot on the beach! Regardless, definitely will be visiting again, their vegan nachos and their smoothies sounded amazing!

If you value health, taste and freshness PURE is the place to dine in Manly. I had the Tamari Chicken with a selection of two salads and it was exceptional. Not for those on a budget or short of time, but why rush a good thing? Great place for coffee and a heathy treat too. Although I have already decided, next time I'm coming back for COCO-Whip.

An awesome blend of organic café and organic super market!! Though to look at it, you'd only think it was a café. As you go in, the place has jampacked the little space it has available with tables and chairs and stools, which are in turn usually jam packed with people - it's a popular little place. At the counter there are organic salads and sushi and cake and muffins and other deserts, and you can also order something off the menu. As you travel down the back, the place has tried to cram as much as a supermarket into a small bedroom-sized room as possible. Fruit and vege, oils and conserves, chips and snacks. Then in the freezer theres icecreams and courts, frozen meats and berries, the list goes on. It's a great place if you're an organic food person, so I'd make a beeline for this place, and its atmosphere. I think you'll enjoy the possibilities. Oh, and theres a health pop too. A lolypop but healthy. Love it.

Pure Whole Foods' organic philosophy fits right in in the trendy Manly area. Overall the food is fresh, healthy and a tad expensive. There's a good range of fresh muffins, salads, lentil burgers etc in the display, and daily menu specials to order for breakfast and lunch. I enjoy the breakfast menu and love the acai bowl that has fresh muesli and banana. Coffee is also quite good here. The gluten free, dairy free banana bread was ok but nothing to rave about. You can buy various health foods here, including activated almonds!! The disappointing thing about this place is that it is supposed to be a relaxing place, but it's quite the opposite. It's always busy, crowded, noisy and stressful. The staff seem to struggle with the volume of orders and weekend crowds. It's nicer to sit outside if possible, to avoid the noise and crowded atmosphere. I'd like to try out the lunch menu sometime (not on a weekend though!)

If you love a good vegetarian food this is the place to go in Sydney. Their menu has really good offer but the service needs to be improved.

Nice thin crust, generous servings and a friendly service too: the owner is an energetic lady who welcomed us although they were closing in a half hour, and gave us smiles, telling us not to rush and that we had plenty of time.

Firstly, after mentioning our fav types of wine, the waitress gave us great tips on which wine we would most likely be into. In turn we ended up with a very inexpensive wine that was at the same time amazing. We ordered the arancini balls chef special to start. Instead of the usual intense deep fried small arancini you would get at most Italian joints in Sydney, we received deliciously large BAKED arancini balls.. They were absolutely to die for. I seriously hope they become a part of the regular menu for next time we come here. Having the word Pizza in the restaurant title made us certain to order pizzas for our first visit. I'm glad we did. First was the pepperoni, which was the first perfectly balanced pepperoni pizza I've had. By simply adding capsicum (red peppers) they made what is regularly known as an intense pizza, something truly delightful and wholesome. Secondly was the extremely fun, 'quattro formaggio' aka the 4 cheese pizza.. No messing around here. A straight up cheesefest on a pizza. Perfect remedy for any mildly hungover couple. Be sure to ask for a side of chili oil as that, drizzled lightly over the Quattro Formaggio is a dangerously tasty combination. Lastly, to feel a touch more human and break up all the fun we thought we oughta grab a side of Italian salad. It had its purpose and most certainly did its job. The tables at this place are dressed in gorgeous checkered Italian tablecloths and from every vibe I got, this is a family owned and operated restaurant. My partner and I are already extremely excited about coming here on a regular basis as it ticks all the boxes.

At Cafe Free you can indulge with an American diner style serving of gluten free waffles or enjoy a bacon and egg gluten free roll to feed your hangover. I'm proud to say I wasn't hungover when I visited Cafe free so I chose the waffle route - its not everyday you see waffles listed as gluten free on a menu. Ordering gluten free pancakes or waffles is usually disappointing as eateries struggle to create the fluffiness of normal pancakes. I am often faced with a small serving that is sparingly decorated whilst everyone else is enjoying a stack of buttermilk pancakes with banana, ice cream and maple syrup. Not fair. Cafe Free is exempt from this gluten free bias. To my delight I was greeted with an epic stack of waffles covered in caramelised banana, strawberries and decadent dollops of treacle butter. The waffles were thick and doughy (who knew something gluten free could be doughy?), the banana was perfectly crispy and THAT TREACLE BUTTER. The dollops were initially intimidating and I felt pretty guilty watching them melt amongst the grid of the waffle but I finished the whole plate. No regrets. I was full for the rest of the day but if you had to choose one meal to last you the day you want to make it waffles from Cafe Free. Outside of the waffle experience is a menu full of items that we are used to seeing as gluten full. At Cafe Free you'll find wraps that don't crack, gluten free Vegemite spread and a steak sandwich on the menu. Beyond their breakfast and lunch menu they offer $20 take home dinners and are looking at moving into the evening with tapas. There were also talk of gluten free lasagna - win. All of this is thanks to their Chef, Zoe, and her family and friends who have come together to provide a gluten and lactose free dining experience. On arrival I am greeted by Zoe's brother, Adam and am served by one of Zoe's friends and her mum. Even amongst people buzzing in and out for a late breakfast or takeaway coffee, you can really feel that family element. Speaking with Zoe I learnt about her seasonal menu and experimentation with the baked goods that are on display in store and on social media (so you can't escape that almond milk custard tart that you've been thinking about all week). There is certainly plenty to look forward to as Cafe Free grows. Watch this space.
