Updated review: We…read morecame back to Bear Lake and decided to check out this shop again. We had a much better experience this time. We were greeted when we walked in by the nicest person! She didn't make us feel rushed or like we were inconveniencing her at all. She was all smiles and very sweet when we were ready to check out. We went to North Beach afterwards, but forgot to grab waters, so my husband went back. They were closing, but still sold him water and sunscreen. Super nice people and we're so happy stopped by this little shop again.

This is a cute quaint little shop that we got some chocolate goodies from. We got chocolate covered…read moreraspberries, mint chocolates, and some gummie candies for the kids. I also bought one of their homemade caramels, and it tasted just like the caramel cubes you get from the produce section of Walmart at Halloween time. (Not a compliment) but everything else was cute and sweet. Their setup is super organized while having a homey-artsy feel. Overall still worth 5 stars :)

If I can insert a bit of sarcasm, I would probably call this a Lake Shop cause ain't no surfin' on the lake that I can see. Almost every Surf Shop I've been to, from Honolulu to San Diego to San Francisco, is pricey. It is what it is so know that going in. This shop falls into the pricey category as well. They have their own line of hoodies and sweatpants, branded with their Bear Lake Surf Shop patch and I love it! My girl bought me a pair of sweatpants (which just so happened to be women's and also, fit perfectly) and a hoodie zip up. Both are super comfy and despite the massive hole in my hoodie, thanks to my puppy and her oral fixation, I really like them. I also found a beach scented candle and each time I light that sucker up, I think of the lake and how much fun I had on our trip. This shop offers a lot of cool stuff in case you don't feel like driving an hour to WalMart for a beach umbrella, vest, swim trunks, bikini :O) sunscreen and other beach related items. This can be considered a rescue spot because if you don't want that sun to blaze on your melon, that sun umbrella is an excellent investment. It is a bit on the small side inside, and with very few people wearing masks, it can get cramped and feel a bit like folks are on top of each other. Overall, this is a sharp spot and I really like it.

I have purchased limited edition prints (both canvas and paper) and have have them matted and framed. The work is always excellent. I have never had an issue with a single thing they have done. In addition to framing, I have purchased silver items, water bottles and they even helped me sell my mother-in-laws Bev Doolittle prints. Gary and Joydean (Owners) are gregarious and always helpful.

When I was there, a bilingual employee was helping some customers decide what over the counter product to use. There is a soda fountain, but no one was at it when I visited on a Sunday. This location also has a Radio Shack inside. Like a lot of older / smaller-town pharmacies, there is also an extensive gift area inside this shop. Prices seemed fair.
